Then why did Jesus cry "My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me. Why did he pray "let this cup pass from me"? Many of Joel's teaching have been very helpful. But, God made us flesh, blood, bone , nerves with a great ability to feel pain. I am unable to comprehend that the Jew's in the Holocaust did not suffer. I believe God is only loving and good and has no part in suffering. Pain is man's creation when absent from God. I humbly present these thoughts. I'm 72 and have been seeking God, not man's interpretation of God my whole life. As Einstein said, "l want to know God's thoughts, the rest are just details. Thank you

@@noumenonjohn6136 Interesting. I use to study ACIM so am aware that is what ACIM teaches but after listening to Joel Olsten who teaches that we are already one in God; I in He and He in me, right here, right now, no separation so no merging back into God, which actually sounds less like oneness and more like duality.
@@Denise0752 It is my understanding that we can be individualized yet also one, where the individualization actually reveals the Oneness, whereas merging back would mean no understanding of Oneness, if that makes sense. As a human, we feel seperate from God, so the Oneness is hidden. This is so we can plant the seed of individualization, by experiencing extreme seperation. In our journey back to God we bring our experience of seperation so that it provides context as we drop our physical form and return. In other words we experience the two poles of our being, Oneness and seperation. At the final graduation, so to speak, we integrate both poles and rest in the middle as a Individualized being fully aware of our Oneness. There are people with NDE's that have tried to describe this .
