Meditation: Now Is a Window Onto Eternity 

I've watched over 1100 Rupert youtubes. Probably over 500 other recordings. Been to a week long retreat and an evening meeting. This is top 5, for sure.

Rupert's appearances on RU-vid are an oasis of stillness and serenity. The words he conveys to us are precise, yet economical. The message behind them allows the possibility of overcoming our ego conflicts and the confounding world situation. We are so much more than our perceptions; our judicious and considered choices can bring us Heaven on Earth for the remaining time we have here.

NOW is ITS own purity, ITS own perfection, not an opportunity for another to attain purity or perfection. There is only NOW, not the word. The alive, aware, conscious SUBSTANCE that is ALL.

The silent state of Pure Awareness or the Pure state of Consciousness is eternity. Our mind is a collection of thoughts and the mind can never experience Pure Awareness. The mind is only a vehicle to get thru this life. The relative mind can never know our true existence. MEDITATE AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS WITHIN YOU!

Time is a unit of measurement. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is the Same thing Jesus Taught. Most people did not understand HIM. He Said HIS World was of Spirit..and the body is the temple. Meaning.. we Are Spirit..living in the body of matter..material stuff. The body is the House for the Spirit. I understand this principle. The problem..is aging! I am 74 and I still feel young! It is hard to adjust to this old body. Our Spirit..does Not age..apparently! This man puts me me into a state of meditation..like No other. Just a couple minutes..and I am There!

Can't help wondering how consciousness came to be. Is it really all that is or just the top layer of our present knowledge. One day will someone say "This is what people believed in 21st century. We now know ...." And our descendants will sigh and say "they weren't too advanced then. ..."

Even so, we have the ability to hear where sounds come from so we could avoid being eaten by a predator.. or avoid being hit by a car

The sound at the beginning is so much louder than Rupert's voice (and other videos) that my husband startled up from sleep and said, "what's that?" Lol. I feel even worse for anyone listening on headphones.

Is there anything other then awareness? :D Love to contemplate on that. :)

I would love to know Mr. Spira's thoughts on this. The only thing that exists is now. I know a lot of people throw this around conceptually but once you experience the now past and future seems nonexistent. So as within is it so without? In the double slit experiment the particle exists as a wave more precisely a sign wave of energy and only manifests upon observation. The path the world takes through this thing we call space is the same. I call it the carousel because we go up and down and round and round. The present moment is manifested because it is being observed. The past and future are not materialized because there is no one there to observe it. If there was the world would look like a spiral noodle instead of a particle ball. This would coincide with time being a wave of potentiality that only manifests on the crux of time and space or as people say in the now space. If this is true then physical time travel forward or backwards is impossible because it is not manifested. The only time traveling influences possible would be through energetic influence in the quantum field. If my experience outside time and space is correct then there is only one pervading energy that manifests into different things based upon preconceived ideas. This goes along with the kundabuffer (imagination) concept of creation. We are a thought in the mind of the Creator. We collectively manifest the world we perceive based upon ideas planted in us. The sky is only blue because we have been taught that it is blue. The world of labels (logos) then doesn't exist and the only thing that we can know for sure is real is the I am experience. If you close your eyes and sense your spacial existence in the moment this is the only thing you can know to be True, everything else is debatable. I think science whether they like it or not is going to verify the old esoteric traditions that have been lost. What is your understanding of this? I ask because most people don't understand the words coming out of my mouth and know you have studied in the same type of 'school' as I have. Thx

:-) The time and space appears in the Eternanl Timelessness of Being which lS not of matter but of Spirit that gives lnfinite transient forms of lmpermanence within the Boundless context of That Which lS Permanently Unchanging in lTS Essence of Which we each are like the lnfinite waves on the lnfinite Ocean arise and subside into ..in the Empty..ness and fullness and Completeness of Oneness of Being from Which we are not as separate "self" .. But lnfinite fragment of lnfinity in lTS Wholeness..We appear in time and space but in our Awaken Awareness we are Beyond time space name and form..in the Formlessness of Undifferentiated Beingness ..Namaste..Infinite Blessings and Light Love ..

So it seems that in this meditation Rupert is equating 'mind' with 'consciousness/awareness'. Would that be correct?

~ A Window What's a window? Surely not a mirror. Right? All is as nothing to the spirit. But....not nothing. uh...what? All realization is false reality. Reality is being. Being is union. I’m sorry.. I really don’t get this. Of course the experience of the sound of the phone takes place in our mind. But how is it that everything in the world IS our mind?? Isn’t the phone that makes the sound matter? If the phone didn’t exist then there would be no sound. And therefore no experience of sound in our mind. Is he trying to say that there is no thing as matter and that the whole world just consist of mind made experience? That thought is totally impossible to grasp for me.

I’m a little concerned with what we are . Our real nature is God - Pure being -All knowing . So doesn’t that make us God . Or are we just an offshoot or tentacle of God . Or what we THINK we are is the offshoot while the whole time we are the Capital G god . Saying I am seems blasphemy but it almost seems like we are ? Teachers seem to point to that . I’m reeling with wanting to know cause it’s so damn interesting . And between NDES and great spiritual teachers and awakenings and just the profundity of what is is well , shockingly beautiful. Beyond that. Wouldn’t it be the most highest possible experience to ever have ? I don’t want to have to die to realize this , die to the false set yes but god wouldn’t it be nice to know. Guess We’re all on the road to find out .

Time is the singularity and the infinite. Singularity in this moment in time only ever existing for an infinity.

Space = Awareness (learning, knowing) - innermost Time = Experience (manifesting) - outermost Energy = activity (conversion) - midmost Matter = Impression (qualia) - midmost Qualia = sense modalities, submodalities and driving submodalities. All beginnings and endings of experience occur in Awareness, which remains ever - present to itself. Outermost = metaphor/symbol Midmost = interpretation Innermost = meaning

Everything we is is seen inside the mind, even if it seems to be outside. When you meditate and go beyond limited self one returns the Self which is there forever. Good talk Mr Spira.

Thank you very much Master for this beautiful video. I kinda get on track if I look my experience from space-time dimension. Being aware of being aware is a great technique but the experiencer gets mixed with the qualities (object) of experience and I get confused again. However, when I look from the prospective of SPACE-TIME I don’t see myself going anywhere I’m here and I’m in never ending now all the time. And this brings me immediately to the present now. I am still learning. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thank you all brother and sister. Much thanks for joining the Explorer’s club.
