Yes, that is the way some shows operate. It depends on the editorial staff. If they don't know about a subject or know if people will be interested they treat it as a filler between stories and rush it through. It is poor journalism but everyone gets lazy sometimes.
Let's not be distracted by the attractive intern and analyze the info from the "reading" shall we? Her grandmother or great grandmother. Which is it? He likely threw in great grandmother because this girl appears to be in her early 20's, and her grandmothers could still be alive, leaving us with 4 potential possibilities. It's likely at least one is dead. He never says if this women is on her mother or father's side. No name, physical attributes, personality. Nothing. This women came all the way from the other side to give a vague description of her ailments and illnesses before her death? If she's watching over this girl why not offer specific advice like when to marry, what decisions to make, what career to pursue? Maybe an apology or an important statement she always wanted to make? Nope she'd rather discuss a possible misdiagnosis or something with her blood. I love the birthday comment. Who's birthday just passed? Usually a safe bet. Could be a day ago, month, week, 6 months? Surely she would know someone, and she still couldn't come up with an answer. If you're able to talk to her grandmother why doesn't she just tell you who's birthday it was? Best part of the reading was that dress.
New England's Insomniac Theatre , he's clearly a liar that's why he can't come up with specific details. You would think if he sees them also, he would be able to describe what they look like. He comes up with no names at all either. I wanted to believe this kid, but the more I watch him, the more I know he's lying. It's a shame to be so dishonest, and scam people out of money. If there's a hell, these psychics will go there for sure.
I agree. If you watch more of his videos you realize he gives the "same readings" over and over again. Seems he's stock piled auto pilot readings that could apply to anyone. Here's a breakdown of the patterns I noticed from him as well as other "psychic's". 1. Older male with chest or heart issues and/or stomach problems 2. Older male bad memory/dementia w/ military connection. 3. Older female breathing issues and/or chest/ fluid build up. 4. Older female misdiagnosed. Infection in hospital. Stomach issues 5. Child that died. Non-gender specific as well as no age. 6. Young male passed in tragedy. Drug or alcohol problem. Lost touch with them over time. 7. Person in accident. Head, neck, or brain injury. 8. Male or female. Thought they were getting better. Up and down w/ eventual health decline. Sometimes he'll mix the details depending on the person's reaction. Other "proofs" he offers. 1. Did you keep some of his/her jewelry? 2. Did you keep some of their clothing? 3. Connection to balloons? 4. Anniversary/birthday coming up or just passed. 5. Deceased comes to you when you're driving in your car alone. 6. Do you have pictures you look at or an old voice mail saved? 7. Often describes a "big personality" life of the party on the other side. 8. Did you renovate or recently redecorate your home? 9. Leaves coins for you like pennies. 10. A song playing that reminds them of the deceased. It's their way of connecting. 11. Throw out a common name. Who's Michael? John, Paul, Mary? Twice I saw him ask, who's Anna? Basically all you have to do is use any mixture of those descriptions, and wait for a reaction to know how to proceed. Most people will fill in the details themselves. You also make assumptions based on age, sex, race, clothing, accent, wedding ring, etc. Then you add in the proofs that apply to most people that have lost someone. Rinse and repeat, & make sure you get paid.

When you can edit your videos however you want, all you have to do is put out the times you're correct. Sometimes you're right other times dead wrong. A good "medium" learns how to twist their words to change it into a hit. Matt puts out videos when his guesses land which does happen. Even a broken clock is right twice a day...
its Showtime this is a plain-looking young woman who is clueless about how to dress on a TV show....it's ok to "feel comfortable" wearing inappropriate clothing just don't complain when potential bosses skip over you.
