Hi your correct, it takes 3 years to learn the skill then at least 10 years to gain experience. It's a very visual and technical skill but once mastered is a great thing!
Hi Erica, please you enjoyed watching this one! Yes it would work, as long as you have enough length to wrap. Remember it's the heat from the dryer to begin with that sets the curls. So it's best to wrap each piece up fairly fast. Then place a grip in to hold it! Stuart
@spoons2007 Thank you :) As well as Lara placing foils and tinting in-between them she also painted another colour onto her gloves and wiped it through the lengths of her hair, this extra colour and the way it was applied helps give the hair more depth and dimension.
@davidmar43 Hi, thanks for your lovely comment, normally I take with one of my 7 assistants to help with the shoot, they all enjoy watching/helping so unfortunately that wouldn't be possible. I wish you all the best in this amazing industry :)
Hi Colin, there could be so many factors involved! Is it breaking of from the roots or snapping off around half way, quarter way etc? How long is your fringe? Are you more stressed now than say a year ago? Have you got any colour in your hair? Have you changed your diet in the last year? Think of any big changes that has taken place recently! Finally are you just loosing it from your fringe? I'm not a trichologist but I can offer you advice based on my experience of others! Stuart
Hi Emma, at my salon what we generally do a strand test a day before the hair is coloured. This comprisses of the stylist taking a few strands from 2-3 area's of your hair. This will tell if your hair is strong enough to have the colour applied. If it isn't your hairdresser will explain what will happen if you go ahead! Stuart
As you have a similar face shape to this model then this haircut would definitely suit you, even if you have a darker skin colour, the only difference is as you have very thick hair you may need to thin it out a bit more, also depending on how wavy your hair is your hairdresser would need to adjust the amount of layers accordingly but they would guide you on that!
@heydezire Normally natural blondes have a fair skin complexion which means you can't go too dark, this could result with your face being washed out. One colour that seems to work with natural blondes is a chocolate brown tint (no darker than that) with different shades of golden highlights placed in-between but to find the perfect brown, meaning which tone of brown and also the perfect shade of golden blondes the hairdresser would need to see your hair first for the all important consultation.
@101badmad101 I would leave the curls for about 15 minutes, or until the hair has cooled down compleatly from the dryer, that means the hair is set and ready to dress out! Remember to use some hairspray before you work your hands through the hair!
Another great hair video from this channel. Never thought you could improve on this already nice looking lady, this team is so dam good and now she looks hot!!
As they say, our hair is our crowning glory. If am only in UK I will definitely go to your salon and have my hair done, it might be pricey but am sure it's very worth it! You really deserved your success in your career or business although I do not know you personally but knowing you replied on my question here on yt it means you're a good person. More Power!
Hi Stuart, love your work! I was wondering if you put anything in her hair after you looped it with your finger to get the curls to curls so good? Thanks! :)
What brand of makeup does Maria Foster use here? I love it! It looks like either Laura Mercier or Bobbie Brown, but I'd love to know, especially the eye makeup Anyway great video! I love this channel

Hi Stuart! i'm a very young girl who had colored and streaked my hair once, and i have blonde hair. Will my hair be damaged if i Colored and streaked at the same time? I 'm thinking to do it very soon. Love your work -Emma
Hi Stuart, this is my favorite of your vids but I was wondering.. Would the curls work for thick heavy hair? I have such a hard time getting my hair to curl even though it has a natural wave to it.. Love your make overs! BTW
@PoppyyDollyCutie Stuart charges £200, for the first appointment he takes 2 hours, he discusses your face shape, bone structure, hair texture, etc and from this he finds the perfect haircut for you!
Hi Georgia, I agree as the model was beautiful. although the hair was better suited which helped her find more work in her modelling! I suppose sometimes a change is good anyway!! Stuart
