This channel documents my adventures travelling around Southern Africa in my caravan.
Two years ago I left the big city of Cape Town, towing my caravan and a speedboat with my lovely cat for company, never to return to the big city.
I'll be documenting my adventure and showing caravan parks that I spend time at in Southern Africa as well as some other subjects of interest to caravanners and adventurers in general.
This channel takes an in-depth look at smaller and off-grid living in Southern Africa.
The tiny house movement is small in Southern Africa, but is growing exponentially very quickly.
Southern Africa is vast and has areas of great beauty with weather that is unique and superb. These videos will interest adventurers of all ages. There are still ways to live in this world that allow one to wander the world, as John Wayne used to do in the old western movies.
As I get older I have the choice to sit in four walls, watch TV and get grumpy, or go off and have an adventure in my old age.
I've decided to choose the adventure and I'm surprised at what I've found. I'm seeing some great places and having some fantastic experiences.
Hopefully these videos will bring out your inner 'John Wayne'.

Thanks for the video - we have stayed there twice since seeing your comprehensive and accurate review. The camp entrance has moved since your video (and our first visit) and is fine, although a bit of care needs to be taken in the dip immediately before the gate. Looking at your video , other comments, and warnings given by fellow motor-homers / caravanners, it seems as if pilfering continues to be a problem there - although on the most recent visit I I noticed that someone had been appointed to be responsible for security. My rating is 7 out of 10. Rob

I stayed in this Park for 2 months. I found the park to be well-manicured and pleasant. I do prefer a larger Park with natural surrounding Bush. Unfortunately security was an issue as they were more robberies after the video was taken. I definitely feel that a security guard at night is needed. There is a desperate water situation in town but I do feel that management could have interacted more with the Campers and informeded them of the position. This lack of communication did cause unhappiness amongst certain campers, some who packed bags and left. Finally just a mention that the park has now changed hands which is important to know because myself and three other campers had run-ins with management which was very unpleasant. So good luck to the new owners with a very nice park
