Not really. This scene was animated by one guy and I’m pretty sure it’s the same guy who did the Hinokami Kagura part of the Tanjiro vs rui fight. Basically it’s Nozobu Abe’s job to do crazy shit
People are often confused by this scene, “Bellerophon” is the only person who was able to ride Pegasus, Medusa’s son, her noble phantasm is the ability to summon the reins “Bellerophon” to control the divine beast Pegasus, hence her class as a Rider.
@@makairidah8354 you probably saw it in a Hollywood movie. In mythos it is said that Bellerophon was the one who tamed Pegasus and used him in various deeds. Some variations of the myth about Medusa include Pegasus as a mean to reach the Gorgons' Island and that he was given to Perseus by Athena, but those aren't considered a canon.
@@makairidah8354 Perseus was given Pegasus' ride by Bellephoron. He rented it so he could freeze the serpent that would devour the princess with Medusa's head.
@@JoaoVinicius-k7cPerseus never rode Pegasus, as Pegasus had just been born when he cut off Medusa's head. Perseus flew to save Andromeda from Cetus the serpent using winged sandals Hermes gave him before he even left to kill Medusa.
I mean, while his horses are pretty legendary, the main focus is still on the chariot itself. If the chariot counts, then so do the Servants with ships as their NPs. Alexander’s NP is horse, Bucephalus, though. And then there’s Martha… And Ryouma’s mount is his wife.
@@isaac5154 K&B?? I mean, what K&B can do against Gae bolg, a Enuma Elish blast and a excaliblast?? :v Shirou won against Saber because she didn't use a excaliblast against him.
@@angelcortes3485 just saying, real Kanshou & Bakuya is way stronger than those that Emiya use, if im not mistaken, they can 1 shot gorgon. Emiya's version arent even noble phantasm, theyre just normal sword that he made to look like the real K&B because he like the design or smt
I remember seeing someone say Salter was only hit with a minimum output of Bellaphron's power because most of it was taken up to go against Excalibur Morgan's output. I don't know if it's true but if it is that's quite the power of a Pegasus.
No, Rho Aias blocked most of Excalibur's output. It was the only reason Rider managed to hit Salter at all. Otherwise, she and her Pegasus would have been dusted instantly like what happened in the Fate routem
@@pedroportela6476 It could still be a combination of both. Rho Aias takes 70% of the excalibur damage bellaphron's hits for the remaining 30% and hits salter with 20% remaining. Note: the actual percentages don't matter.
When she's first introduced in fsn, she's hitting all the green light of me. Idk but there's something about her that feels so dear to me. She's still my main in fgo 👑
Fun fact the Pegasus she rides isn't that of the Greek hero percious. You see given the circumstances on how she became the gorgan(in the non fate lore) after her head was cut off her 2 sons were born from her stump. The first Pegasus and a young demi god ( the only being to ever ride the first winged horse), A son of posiden. Belephon how ever is the second person to ride him using divine reigns to bind him.
You know an Anime is good when the Animation is so good that it actually looks bad because of the fact that we can only watch this masterpiece in 1080p and not higher
The Bellerophon noble phantasm isnt the pegasus, its the barding and whip pegasus is wearing. It can really be used on any phantasmal beast, it just defualts to pegasus due to it having a connection to Medusa
If I am correct we have seen Shirou working/teaming up with Archer, Lancer, and Rider (Saber doesn't count she is his servant) All we need now are new fate series with shirou working with Caster, Assasin or Berserker
Considering the comments i wonder how many people don't know that the true noble phantasm that Rider used here (Bellerophon) is actually a saddle and not the pegasus she summoned. (the pegasus is not the noble phantasm).
I like how they fixed the noble phantasm issue of Saber Artoria in this one, since it's Structure Effective make more sense haven't too much effectiveness against Medusa Rider's Noble Phantasm, different from Fate/Stay Night where Excalibur executed Medusa meanwhile in her NP.
Tbh I partially wish they kept her Pegasus as part of her attack animations in her SSR saber form. Would have been nice to see her summon Cerberus and her trusty Pegasus in the extra attack
I was trying to recall where I heard the background music since I never watched the third film yet. Then it hit me. This is the original version of Kirito’s battle song during his fight with Gabriel! Yuki Kajiura is really amazing ❤
For me she did, if you see the scene just before where she pulls back to activate her NP, she kinda "slice" her throat with her hands At least it seems lie it to me
