It’s almost the two third majority wining for the labour party. How can we be more optimistic and expect better from the Great Britain (self proclaimed greatness obviously) when this empire colonized, exploited and looted more than the half of earth’s surface by force over centuries? The colonial mindset is enshrined in English society. Look at Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, even today these states are dreaming of their own independence. However, the brutal reality is that the cunning British regime will never let it happen. Ireland suffered from a series of bloodbath and atrocities committed by the British regime before the Irish revolutionists proclaimed sovereignty and got rid off their authoritarian neighbour. And still, the British government pretends that nothing happened in the past! If a nation treats its closest neighbouring states and look alike people with such an utter contempt, protesting against the genocide of 9 months in Palestine is the least they can think, let alone to care about….. 😢

This was a UK election. Those concerned about Gaza need to get over themselves. Other local issues, like the cost of living, education, healthcare, etc., are also on people's minds. Also, Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine, and China is committing genocide against the Uyghur Muslims. However, you don't hear these people mention those atrocities, let alone take a stand against them. Instead of criticising the UK etc., perhaps it's time to reflect on their own actions.
