I met meechys father one day at the signing of the Flatbush zombies album and I met them and they were one of the most wholesome artists I’ve ever encountered. Thank you for sharing your talent. You help make us unafraid. Blessings. To all of those out there who are working towards your freedom. Remember that only our own minds can beat us. Control yourself. Stay at peace. Stay healthy and don’t let the poison of derailed minds scar your skin. Much love, 3.
Not a fan of preachy people in the comment sections of youtube videos or social media at allll but that was dope. You had an actual experience meeting the rapper and tied that in with something positive to say aimed at encouraging everyone to go after life un afraid and unaffected by the collective poisonous values thrown onto us by society. I fully agree and this is without a doubt something FBZ would co-sign. Much love to all.
I always knew Darko was a lyricist but felt his vocal intonations were a distraction with his exaggerated pitch. “The Truth” beat is perfect for his flow as his voice is a complimentary instrument to the simple sound bed. Finally Flex brought a real lyricist up this time, he’s been letting too many rappers come up to spit hot trash.
@@andrewbuckman7169 nah man kwep listening. First time it didnt hit and i frlt a little disappointed. Now I keep listening and I think its one of my favorite albums OF ALL TIME
That album finna drop yesterday... “My knife work turn Bruce Willis to Bruce Jenner” ☠️ This man’s pops was shot by police January 2021. This man’s accomplishments must be googled. This man’s contribution to Hip Hop alongside the remaining Flatbush Zombies members (Juice and The Architect) must not go unnoticed. This man has been in the game since before 2012 I believe, never signed to a label, and made it independently. If it’s not your music, you are OLBIGED to press F and pay your respects to the Dark One, MeechisDead Darko
He lives this ... He doesn't have a regular job. You want him to do back flips every single time when most likely they filmed each cypher/freestyle more than once for fans to watch like it was flawless? With all due respect stay focused on your favorite MC and get hyped when YOU watch it
Major flashback to 2018 where he also incorporated lyrics from unreleased songs into his freestyle. Just love his pen and hes doing sth new always. Cant wait for the album!
For anyone curious to know, Meech is rapping bars from his upcoming solo album Gothic Luxury. The very last verse that starts off with "Not buying a condom, my best poppa’s investment,” isn't on the album and I'm willing to bet that it is from an unreleased song that could potentially end up on the "deluxe" version of the album Meech has briefly mentioned a couple of times previously. In order, the songs the bars rapped in the freestyle are from are: - The MoMA (feat. Black Thought) - What If? - Never Forgettin' GOTHIC LUXURY OUT THIS MONTH, 8/26. GANG. 🕸️🕸️🕸️
@@sethrussell7771 Never Forgettin', Prada U, and Lavi$h Habits [Gothika] are currently some of my big favorites. Can't wait for you to hear the album in 9 days, friend. 🧟♂️
Once again some clown makes a ridiculous statement that causes dudes to start attacking the mc he was trying to rep for. Bruh Meechy is great, this freestyle was fucking great but come on man smfh. I feel bad doing Meechy like this cause i think he’s so dope and underrated buttt for the fun of it i could legit name 20 or more freestyles better than this. But off the top of my head I’ll just tell you 2 that are light years ahead of this jawn and if you said one of these was the best Freestyle ever i wouldn’t argue. Blackthought and Loaded Lux put on a lyrical display that you could make a college course out of. This jawn aint touching them in anyway and if you disagree well then you don’t know how to digest rap music lol.
Lol I just love how unique his voice, flow, and delivery are. Flatbush has always been a great group to listen to. They are wacky and all dope, seen their tiny desk stuff too. They are all pretty cool. I would love to meet them and be in their presence. Nobody else sounds like they do!
Issa and AK are cool.. Issa sold my buddys two tickets for a sold out show down in SD 2012.. smoked like 9 joints with them while we compared New York and California Cops in a UCSD parking lot lol
I love them since the first song I listened to… it was mraz and it was new, and still I’m loving all members, saw them live once. It was amazing, meechy fist bumped me, it was like being in a sweaty heated heaven
At some point I'll return to explain how much I appreciate this flow, this incredible rap. For now I'll just say I'm so grateful rappers like this still exist. Meech If you can see this, thank you for this
@@ksb7938 facts. Bring Em Out would be amongst my top 5 favorite songs of all time if it wasn't for his verse. But a lot of his verses on BetterOffDEAD are irreplaceable & he's definitely irreplaceable on Palm Trees & Mary, Nothing Above Thee. It's really easy to say that Meech & Erick are way more consistent from song to song for sure though.
Omg after I watched this video I realized how much I truly appreciate Meech and the Zombies. Once I dropped 7 tabs of acid and felt like I was melting in the 9th Realm of Hell for years. Then I turned on some Zombies and started slowly floating back to reality. Thank you Meech.
Bruh people really don’t understand that these dudes music really does bring you home when your that deep. I’ve had some similar experiences with some zombie songs.
