This is dope. Not only are they smiling, dancing and truly enjoying the moment without trying to look hard even when he fell and most importantly with a camera rolling. I think traditional skate rinks should open back up.. there was nothing like that vibe of not only a live DJ , but genuine fun .. in Chicago the main rinks closed up shop.
I never learned how to skate backwards. I spent most of my skating time trying to go forward as fast as possibly. 🤣😂🤣😂 Great memories!!!! Respect to Meek, Floyd, and Usher!!!!! Respect to all the Empire Skating Ring and Skate Key skaters!!!!
I never learned how to skate backwards either, even though I used to rlwear skates more than I wore my shoes. I miss skating, chipped tooth, fractured elbow, black eye, busted lip. But I still wore mt skates. I preferred to skate on the street than in a rink.

Man everybody knew when you got on the wood and roll you always had your hand held out to support your fellow skater without feeling bad if you were nice or not so nice lol it was and always be love. I can see their inner youth come out and its cool to see my age group doing what we grew up on and still enjoy it without no mess. Bless the Kings n Queens.

This is how life is supposed to be. Us all having a good time enjoying each other’s company. Where you hate to leave where you can’t wait until the next time you meet up. I hope and pray that everyone who attends alone or with a group of family and friends will be safe. I hope everyone appreciates what Usher is trying to do in the community. Yeah in Philly we use to either go to Northeast to Wow Skating Ring or we go down to Southwest to Elmwood Skating Ring or even Camden N.J to this other jawn that Every body use to go to a long time ago and prolly still go to how Meek was just dancing, look at Ern n shit in the white hoodie lol & we all use 2 be in a line skate dancing backwards moving just like that in a perfect line & we all just make sure we all stay in the right line and order so the line never get messed up and we never bump into nobody cuz we all make sure each other straight ya whole squad n shit.... I miss them days man... The good ol days in the hood where there wasn't many worries in life. Just was in the hood regular degular!!!
