Mathew Capozzi why are you so racist with you're slurs. Idk if you're black ,white or whatever ,god created all colors and people and not to hate some if there black or jewish or whatever. You're just a disgusting human to think like that..dont get me wrong black people are racist too. Black people and white seem to be the most racist people I've ever seen smh
Imagine how many black people in America are in jail by crooked cops.... there was over 80 cases with jus that ONE cop... smfh.. and they had a LIST...
g33k707 Have you never heard the saying qouted by Voltaire, William Blackstone and Benjamin Franklin "Better 10 guilty men go free than one innocent man be jailed".?
kalief browder did not commit a crime he was "profiled" he was held at rikers for 3 years "awaiting" a hearing! and they are probably many others in the same situation. who are picked up for driving while black, jay walking while black, sitting in a coffee shop while black.....
The fact that meek said that if he has to do the time to overthrow the system he will .. that show his character! Its so much bigger than him and meek knows that! Lord I pray for peace and comfort for Meeks family and the other family's involved and also that the judge has a change of heart cause she does not know what she's doing
Yoel Gide that shit real too. I didn’t know he got arrested on the same street but his pop was known in the hood for robbing niggas. My uncle knew his dad lol
Why didn't anyone saying she shouldn't be a judge & she had too much power when she let Meek off multiple times for dirty urine? Why isn't it when things are not favorable for people then they shouldn't have power? You can't have it both ways.
Jamie Carpenter dirty urine is one thing. But popping him for popping a wheelie? Getting mad cuz he didn’t want to do a song and shout her out? Can’t tell me that shit doesn’t sound personal. She’s abusing her power, for damn sure. Who’s to say she wasn’t letting him off thinking he was gonna pay her back with that shout out?
That song dedication was not true. Go look it up for yourself.. They opened up the transcripts and she said nothing like that. She was stand up to Meek. Go check it out yourself.. Meeks lawyer then dropped this and then that's when the shady cop issue came up. You are saying she abusing her power. So when she gave Meek multiple chances when he came back with dirty urine, was she abusing her power then? When she let Meek off multiple times for not checking in with his probation officer, was that an abuse of power then? , She had the same power giving him chance after chance, that she used when she locked him up. So where did the abuse of power start? Did it start when she was letting him off or when she locked him up? Screw Meek, I am thinking about you and I the common citizen. Lets keep 100; we wouldn't have got one third of the chances meek has got in court. If this was Micheal Mills and he tested positive for weed but he got a job at walmart a month ago with letters from his supervisor that he is a good worker; they would have locked him up and he would have lost his job over dirty urine. Fair is fair, how many people went into the court system in Philly with minor charges and got the infinity gauntlet hurled at there ass. Where was their march and mayor visit.
The judge's behavior has been erratic enough to spark comments from the DA. not to mention the support that has came from other public figures who believe he should be free. there's plenty that doesn't smell right here. if there are transcripts that say the song request didn't happen, why haven't they been released yet? of course the common folk wouldn't get the same chances Meek has gotten; we don't all have the money he has. plenty of folks have been incarcerated for the same dirty urine offense, and even lesser, and that alone is enough to gas up the Free Meek train. talking about common citizen... there's no telling how many have been held in jail behind BS from legal figures. i'm sure we can agree on that. the irony here is i'm not the biggest Meek Mill fan. but to completely ignore all the smoke would be stupid, or slow, as killing softly put it.
The judge eventually convicted Meek Mill of probation violation after he leave the state without authorization to attend the American Music Awards. He also failed a drug test in the previous hearing after allegedly giving the court cold water for urine.
I swear the more I hear about this case, the more I think the judge is fucking dirty. There are murders who are granted bail, but Meek can't get it for "parole violation?" That makes no sense.
She shouldn't even be judging the case when she is being federally investigated. She's playing with a mans life over him refusing to make a song for her. A fucking song, with a shout out to her.
22 officers......... for popping a wheelie...... dismissed but still a violation according to the judge who decides on a sentence of 2-4 years. No wonder people are rallying behind Meek Mills case.
So Nicki Minaj is out here trying to increase record sales by talking about Cardi... All while denying Meek's testimony about what happened in chambers? Hmm... That's interesting.
She don't gotta talk about Cardi to increase record sales she was asked a question and answered it and all she said was that the judge did what she told her to do when they went into the chambers. She never denied anything so stop making up shit about her to get likes from Cardi stans
For those that are saying "Oh now Meek is a saint" and "he violated probation he deserve it", you're sad! This man is possibly facing 2-4 years for popping a wheelie🤦🏽♀️ due to him being on probation for a case he caught while he was NINETEEN! He is in his 30's now, meaning ANY interaction he has with a cop falls under as a violation..if you can't see how corrupted the system is just by that then maybe you're apart of the reason why. They're literally creating a cycle!!!
Gil Quick when you're in a position to either go to trial and lose bc you don't have the right legal team behind you, due to you living in poverty with NO money to afford it.. I'm pretty sure you'd take the deal as well instead of losing your freedom.
Gil Quick lol he was shooting for a music video not just randomly popping wheelies, and besides it's still petty to be facing 2-4 yrs for it.. but alright smart guy
drive ent exactly! but honestly you can't even persuade people like him who probably never experienced, indifferences living in poverty that's why it's so easy for him to SAY what he thinks is "RIGHT".
1. She asked for a shout out in a song 2. She hired a lawyer for the case 3. She knows this is national news Am I the only one who THINKS she's doing this for some kind of fame, rank, or recognition. But hey, that's the system for ya
#FREEMEEK ! He don’t deserve this shit at all . It’s cops out here killing people and found innocent but this man is in jail for what ? Riding a damn bike & poppin a wheelie? That shit is ridiculous & not fair . This world is set up for African Americans to fail !
Vanessa V you're absolutely right. The technical violation was thrown out by the New York DA. In fact, the New York DA said he should've never been arrested. He was riding a bike 2am in the morning on a set of a music video. It was one senior police officer who saw the video on internet and send a swat of police officers to arrest him the next day at a park while giving autograph to kids. Moral of the story is "technical violation" interacting with police in any capacity. Is the system that failed him. Meek is one of the few lucky one because we're talking about him. What about the voiceless. Guys, if it took this case to bring awareness to the probation system or the system as a whole, then that's excellent.
This interview is a defense attorney sticking up for his client. The same way Johnny Cochran was standing up for OJ and Casey Anthony attorney was standing up for her. The fact ya'll believe anything this guy says proves that you know nothing about the legal system and biased information. Whole interview is to try to get you to not like the judge. Period. While trying to downplay Meek Mills multiple violations of probation.
We REFUSE sometimes as African Americans/Blacks to see big picture! Get the word OUT that another person of color is being treated unfairly by our great American Justice System!
Cant Mew it like me Exactly! People out there protesting to boycott Starbucks. Fuckin stupid. The employee/manager was racist not the franchise. Tired of this sheep mentality.
Oxy Mfihlo Brown as in the Hispanics. Where I'm from, blacks and Mexicans can get 45 years for something a white person can get 10 years probation for.
Tom you sound crazy as hell. You act like Meek was Malcolm X. I wouldn't live in a city that Meek built. GTFO with that. Some of you people are truly delusional. I hope none of you never get locked up, cause I want you to look outside that prison window and see how many people marching to free you. I want you to see if the mayor visits you. You be lucky you keep the same public defender through the duration of your case. #Facts.
These the same laws that said slavery was legal, segregation was legal, can’t drink from a white water fountain was legal etc...Alcohol and weed was illegal now it’s “legal” cocaine was legal now it’s illegal these US laws change like the seasons
Everyone just stop and look how idiotic people in the comments are .... ‘meek violated his probation too many times, he deserves to be in jail’ .. the fact of the matter is HIS ORIGINAL CASE INVOLVED A COP THAT LIED UNDER OATH ABOUT WHAT HAPPNED WITH MEEK.... THE WHOLE CASE NEEDE TO BE THROWN OUT!! Dummies!
Diplomats_1000 no dude it's not that simple. If you get pulled over for speeding and you weren't speeding. And you get out fight the police. Then you prove you weren't speeding your case on fighting doesn't get thrown out
The judge eventually convicted Meek Mill of probation violation after he leave the state without authorization to attend the American Music Awards. He also failed a drug test in the previous hearing after allegedly giving the court cold water for urine. -Yeah the judge, DA, lawyers really telliing meek to do some dumbshit
Did u not hear dj envy that judge is black....black people can be just as fucked up. This whole case is absolutely horrendous. I can't believe this actually happens in the land of the "free"
Thank God I had a paid lawyer in 07 when I Had to see judge Brinkley only to get her off my case. My lawyer said she had previous issues with judge Brinkley and wouldn't represent me or charge me if we couldn't get a different judge. I got judge "Go Home" Joan Brown. Only got 11 and half to 23 months and five years probation. When I plead guilty she said do I realize I could get a maximum of 19 years in state prison. I said I do now, and she said she agrees with prosecutors etc. I always thought Brinkley woulda gave me 19 years after I plead.
she was getting a cut from Charlie Mack on managing meek. Meek left the management and that cost her money now she salty. This is a beneath heel situation. #justaopinion
Some of these comments really don’t make sense . How ya gonna comment saying something if ya don’t fully know the story . Ya just read article headlines and that’s it lol . Ya can’t comment on anything if ya don’t know the full story .
VitoDaDon21 so if he’s not a criminal why is he locked up , crime isn’t only stealing and killing , stop listening to rap music you might learn something
police put people in jail from articles and stories, the judge read some stories about meek mill in some paper work on her desk, but she sentenced him without knowing the full story. so people can make harmless youtube comments that don't result in anyone's incarceration.
Nicki NEVER said “what the judge did was right”. Nicki said “the judge in question did everything i have asked of her, so i can’t bad mouth her”. I hate when interviews don’t get the exact quote or intentionally try to make people look bad?
i feel so sorry for all the young black men in prison that don't deserve to be doing time. honestly i am glad he his shedding light to people and also hope a change happens.
Grand Trey you're the fucking dumb ass who missed the point of my comment entirely. She said she feels sorry for "young black men", I said I feel sorry for anyone
Poor Meek. This is crazy!! I'm glad this case is in the media because it's an unfortunately common occurrence targeting young black people. I hope that fishy judge doesn't get away with this obvious corruption.
some black women; who had been hit as a child love to hurt black man --he had a job an making money she hope that when he get out he has no job --sick --black on black hate
Black on black hate or for once asking a black man to do right and take responsibility. Black women supposed to let black men get away with everything while they shit on our heads.
Some of these comments are ridiculous. I doubt they would've done this interview if they thought it would hurt or hinder his case. They've done too much and there's so much at stake to risk. Everybody wants to know what's going on, and he cleared up a lot.
The day Meek Mill off probation and can finally come to London to do a show. Would be the best day of my life. if not, Might have to travel to the US just to see it him live.
GoodLava SheFlows Meek family and the Judge family were from the same neighborhood and know each other very well. I heard Meek cousin robbed her nephew back in the days. Its definitely more too the story.
This situation is so much bigger than Meek. Imagine how many countless others have suffered through this. Hopefully the publicity around Meek brings justice for others.
Nicki has only supported Meek. She literally testified to get him out of jail. Envy gave a false quote that is not what nicki said, but y’all believe what these people say & don’t go look at shit for yourselves.
Meek lawyer Spoke about it! Didn't you hear him say she hand picked the Probation Officer? When does Judges do that?🤔That witch is mad because Meek team got that Corrupt PO off the case Which they have Evidence that he spoke to Charlie Mack Numerous times that used to Manage Meek. She knew she couldn't say it and she hand picked that PO for a reason just so he can do what she saids.
It was off record of what was said in chambers!! If you know about court proceedings, judges and lawyers say a lot of things off record in chambers!! Stop being slow bro!!
Meek making a change, They trying to keep him quiet, they dont understand that doing what they are doing is only making Meek louder, and he already have a loud ass voice. 😂😂
