Meen Pollichathu is a traditional Kerala dish that consists of fried fish wrapped in banana leaves and then roasted. Fish varieties such as seer fish, pompfret fish, pearl spot and mackerel can be used. Make a spice paste and coat the fish with it. Drizzle it with oil and shallow fry it. The onion tomato masala must be prepared separately. A mixture of onion tomato masala and fish is wrapped in banana leaves, and then sealed. It is then slowly cooked on both sides in low flame.
