Ellie I had trouble latching my baby and had an oversupply and my LC recommended block feeding. It changed my world! BF had been very difficult and painful until I tried it and we never looked back. The first LC I saw wasn't helpful and just gave me latching advice but the LC changed everything for us. X

I had a newborn boy three months ago and at the time my daughter was 16 months like Jackson. Its reminding me of everything they we just went thru at the moment. Missing my daughter, having my daughter meet her brother and breastfeeding pains..etc So awesome :)

My brother was two and a half years when I was born, and once I was brought home, my parents tried to get him to hold me and he said, "Take her back [to the hospital]!!!" Hahaha. We're here whether you like it or not, big brothers! (;

I just watched the video of Jackson being born! It's funny because everything happened in this pregnancy at Walmart. Like finding out that Calvin was going to be born. And then she went into labor at Walmart. In the beginning of the video of Jacksons birth the doctor says "and that's what is going to be like when your water breaks in Walmart" I find it really amazing yet funny that the pregnancies have a lot to do with Walmart! Love the vlogs. Keep up the great work! 😊

Ellie the same thing happened to me just five weeks ago when I had my baby (on your birthday!!) and I would start to get scared when I thought she was waking up for a feed because it hurt so much, but everything is fine now and I am loving being a mum. So don't stress you are doing great and will get through it no matter what you have to do

It was really nice to see you guys relaxed at home with the boys. Stay strong sweetie. The soreness will pass.

I went through the same pain breastfeeding my son, he has a small mouth and it was rough. Now I've been nursing him 8 months and the pain has completely gone away. The first three months are the toughest for breastfeeding but after that it got so much easier- you definitely are on the right track!

I went through the same thing breastfeeding! Cried every time I nursed and of course everyone is like "Breastfeeding shouldn't hurt" blah blah! Nothing really helped but a few people said stick it out for 6 weeks and it will be worlds better and right around then it was! I know that seems forever away but it was nice to have a mini goal to look forward too! Good luck, he is PRECIOUS

Just found your vlog about a week ago.. probably watched at least half your videos especially the baby ones lol this is also the first vlog I've ever watched and has opened up a whole community of you guys and I LOVE IT! You guys and your babies are seriously too precious!

I was dying when Jackson went straight to the camera when he got home!💗

Ellie, I just had to comment in hopes that you see it and in case it could help. I have had six children and I have only successfully nursed one - my last one, now 14 months old. We just stopped last month. Believe me when I tell you that I believe that whatever way a mama feeds her baby is the right way! But I truly wanted to nurse this last baby of mine. I used lanolin cream religiously, before I would feed her, right after I would feed her and even in between. It helped tremendously. I was still sore for two weeks, but I never cracked or bled (like some people do) and it was manageable. Anyhow, maybe you already know about this stuff, maybe you are already using it, but just I case, it is a wonderful thing!!!! I wish you and your sweet family every single good thing. Oh, also, when it was hard, those first few days in the beginning and she wasn't gaining weight, and I wondered if I should just stop nursing, I would tell myself that I didn't have to decide today, that for today I could nurse and that I could decide tomorrow. I truly think that got me through as well! Hope that is helpful, or in the least please know that I am thinking about you and praying for you!

Oh Ellie I feel for you! Please know your not alone. When I had my second daughter the after birth pains were awful, worst than labour but they do get better so hang in there. I remember when I had my second my big girl looked SO big against her baby sister, it's crazy isn't it? Hope you feel better soon and congrats you guys! X

I had so much pain in the beginning nursing my little boy. :( I feel for you, it's so painful! Stick with it and in a few weeks it will get better! It started getting easier around four weeks and now he's 2 months old and I actually really enjoy nursing him. He's learning too and it'll get easier! ! Wish I could be more help than that but I know what you're going through!

This brings back so many memories of nursing my babies. It's SO hard at the start. But I'm still going now at almost 10 months :) Thank goodness my girl was so tenacious and would not let me give up (she wouldn't take a bottle at all, not even of pumped milk). You're doing so well Ellie.

I can so well remember the feeling of the first child being HUGE when the second one arrives. When I was in the hospital after giving birth to my son my mother and father in law came to visit with my then 19 month old daughter and she was enourmous!! It was so funny to me how your perspective changes! Calvin is beautiful and good job Ellie!! You are a wonderful mother!

Ellie I promise if you stick it out through the pain in 4-6 weeks it's amazing! My daughter was great at feeding but had a very small mouth and the pain was horrible but next thing you know it just goes away, we are three months in and it feels like nothing!

My son hated being swaddled too. As soon as I unswaddled him he fell asleep lol My hubby's name is Calvin too. So cute :)
