You should teach your dog that you are the one in-charge aka you are the alpha one here. If your dog bites you (I don't think it does but still) or doesn't obey your orders you should train it and teach it that you are the one who is in-charge. That way whenever you go in a walk it will obey you (or any other place). If there's any other dogs infront of it, your dog will first await for you to order, that way you can keep it under control. In dog's packs they always have the alpha dog (even in lions, tigers, wolves etc) the alpha dogs are basically the leaders who always leads them around. My dog too, used to disobey me. But after few weeks of training it now obeys me. Remember! Never think being a leader means you should boss the dog around. You will need to train him, teach him ways around world but not boss around for no reason. Think of him as another person, he works under you in an army. And you are under a war, you lead them to victory not save your own ass right? So being the alpha dog means somewhat like that. The dog needs to respect you, not fear you.
