@alvaroq2024 she went to school and relatively lived a normal life after the x factor. She did put out some singles throughout the years but she's been pretty standard in what she's put out.
It’s amazing the confidence she has at that age also that judge said and you picked that song and she said yes with all the confidence in the world just amazing
Her entire delivery is a masterpiece, but particularly the little chuckle between 'Sleep in Peace When Day is Done. . . THAT's what I mean.' Definitely an old soul. Every part of this was pure brilliance. I will be watching this treasure over and over.
Do you think she became over confident? Maybe let this all go to her head and the Diva personality turned demonic...🤷♀️ Its not like her voice cracked like it would with a 13 year old boy as his voice would def change. I've read a little of the comments in here and a lot of ppl are saying she didn't sound as good anynore.. I have no idea just asking if you knew... This is the first time I have heard her..and while confidence is good, it can tip one over the edge into an entitled little brat..if not careful..I can't imagine anyone wanting to work with some one who thinks and believes they are all that and more and everyone else isn't...Hope that made sense lol.
The way she nervously shuffles onto stage at first and then as soon as she starts singing picks up this confident SWAGGER. Also love how Dad looks like he’s hearing her sing for the first time. Best. audition. ever.
I feel like she was the most solid contestant over the season when it comes to performances as a whole, but if I remember correctly, her finale wasn’t as great.. plus there’re a million country lovers out there lol so that may have been why she lost, but if we’re speaking overall, I think she def deserved to win that season 😩
@@teresahickey3021 She was signed with Syco Music but dunno the details, she still posts covers on yt, and she had some music video, I haven’t been following her much after X Factor(or anybody else for that matter), but she seems to be doing alright. She was also acting apparently, anyway overall, I guess she’s ok!
I return to this audition whenever I’m sad it’s soooo powerful!!! She was robbed of not winning so talented. I mean this was 8 years ago and I’m still coming back
Oh I forgot to tell you Carly Rose fans about a fantastic "Voice" audition I watch over and over-- Kaity Dunstan Audition"---- best three minutes on youtube !
One of the most memorable and most incredible auditions in the history of X Factor auditions. I will forever go back to this. She is probably one of the best vocalists i have ever heard.
This is legitimately one of the single most impressive auditions I've seen in any show like this. X Factor, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent, etc etc.
I still remember seeing this when it happened. And I still think this was of the of the best vocal performances I have ever seen. Shame she never went anywhere.
She was already singing in Broadway musicals before she came on The X Factor. Alot of these acts are already "seasoned" singers before they get on the show. It's never just a random person who sang all the time in their bedroom and just decided to try out. Plus after this, she was on an episode of Law & Order SVU.
finishing school is never a bad choice. she wanted an as normal as possible school experience. what would have happened if she chose career over education and never got famous or her diploma???
Seanie you still get a diploma if you don't physically go to school... she could've done school online. and by bad choice, i mean she lost her following and the buzz from the show is long gone, so when she does start her career, she's starting from scratch as if she wasn't even on the show.
Haha me too! Just about to say I have been coming back to this song for 3 years and probably still will for several more years. It was a special moment in time, and a lovely version of the song. Especially for her age, wow!
+Shequana Jordan or maybe he was so impressed with the way she handled herself. Its not easy to have a spot light on you singing in front of thousands of people.
I still come back to this twice a year. This is my favorite audition ever! From any show ever made! Youre soooo good and I picked you to win that year. You should probably check, I feel like they gave you the most time up there on stage for an audition. Much respect ✊🏾
Carlotta Ferri you damn right I was livid the thought of her losing to the country singer just put a bad taste in my mouth she's better than that blew the competition away before it began
December 2022; I’m watching The Voice and thinking how no audition will ever top this one. I still remember the goosebumps I got when I first watched this. Still got them when I watched today.
It's not surprise.. I mean it is, but not the way it is for everyone else. That's his little girl tho, can't even imagine the range of emtions and the amount of joy he was probably feeling here. Simon Cowell called her a star, the most difficult judge to get in your side.. he was just amazed by it all
I wouldn't call it surprised. I would say he was amazed and blown away. A huge crowd of people screaming their heads off for your little daughter? Some of the most successful singers ever loving what she's doing, Simon cowell loving it.. even if he knew she was amazing, it was still incredible to watch.
My guess: Their last name is Jewish as fuck, and they’re probably rich as fuck. Her dad probably works a lot and knew she could sing but never really understood just how good she was she was on a stage in front of 100s of people who were cheering for her :p just my guess.
Its 2017 and I still can't stop watching this audition. I wish she was more out there though like her talent needs to be heard by more people and I never hear about her which is sad meanwhile fifth harmony has blown up.
5 Years later (2018) ... still come here to watch this performance every once in a while because it's THAT good. Carly is amazing and continues to be amazing.. all the ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I liked this because I believed that she auditioned because singing was truly her passion and she wasn't in it for the fame or money. She seemed really humble in the audition and she looked like she was totally in the zone, it was like she didn't hear the screams from the audience she just went and did her thing
finaly!!best comment for her and you my man realy see what i see.i'm musician, dancer and singer from age of nine..so,i have tousends concerts with everything i do and know and most important in this moment is to say something about this wunderkind!i hope i wrote correctly cause neither english or german are my language so both englis and german people i'm sorry for mistakes... ;) i talk like crazy and never to say what i want to say.i don't wanna say anything now! aahahahahah you my friend already say everything i want to say,so THANK YOU! great thinking and watching her's perfomance on the stage!!!every detail is important and you see it.but i see there is many people here who have nice comment's but you talk instead of me.every word stolen from my ...fingers because i type don't talk :P
thx a lot for such a great wish!!BUT...always that damn "BUT" hiding somewhere!i'm ended my "career" wit my band in 2001 after bigest concert in my country on the football stadium and on the strongest sound sistem ever!that was insane.Prodigy play on 10.000 less power then we are in same space sooooo ......that was dream, there is no words for that, only expirience can describe you how you feel in that moment and you are first in program of national television...after that,I fell off a KTM motorcycle and everything came to an end.beforeall this,i was the army special force.when you somethink like that you think nothing and nobody can't touch or hurt you.i was soooooooooo wrong!!!once again, thank you for everything!!!
BRUHHH THAT RIFF AT THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INSANELY GOOD. SHE WAS MADE TO SING. GOD BLESS HER AND HER SOUL! Annnnnd I'm FeEeELiIiIiNnNG GooOoOoOOD !!!
Wizard Ed I think the OP was just saying how refreshing it is for a 13 year old to look relatively young. She's not heavily made up or dressed in older clothing.
"Did you rehearse? Did you pick that song yourself?" Nah bitch I decided to get on stage in front of millions, choose a high level song without rehearsing. The question just bothers me but he probably thought her parents picked that out for her but really dude?
Well, he may have thought that she was a little over- confident and didn't know on what a level this song is. Since she is only thirteen, I understand that question quite well
awkwardnchey Not taking away from your opinion, but with someone so young, he probably wanted to see if she knew what she was going up against. Nina Simone is no joke and for such a young performer to attempt that most judges would be a tad worried.
Skydancer263 Well the fact remains that even if she did intensely rehearse and had not the pipes and soul she is blessed with, she would have failed miserably.
She announced after she finishes high school she's gonna release her album she's been working on... I think she wanted to do high school like a normal kid first
I've listened to Carly's version of Feeling Good several times and I just don't understand why she's not a mega star in 2023. I think her rendition here is more enjoyable to listen to than the Michael Buble's version I heard (and I love Michael's music) and she's up there under Nina Simone's somewhere - not on Nina's top rung of course - but Carly was only 13 when she belted this out. Wow!
She was proud of her daughter of course and her father was shocked because he didn't expect that rose comments of the judges were unbelivable and it shocked me too I'm not hating but you should think about what you're thinking her father was only proud
It was fixed because of some inside problem with Simon. I think it was a dispute between Simon and her parents can’t really remember. She actually had 50% of the votes between the three contestants apparently. This may be false information but at the time this is what was said
To this day, this still is singlehandedly one of the best auditions in the history of this show. Carly's runs and vibrato are in a class of their own. True perfection. As a fellow signer, this is truly one of the hardest songs of all toke to song. She fuckin killed it. Also east coast reppin haha. Let's go Westchester
When an indigo child exemplifies how emotion is expressed and not weaponized........ Powerful, beautiful and goes farther than most would ever recognize......Gorgeous!
As opposed to the guy that had released albums had his own band and had been in the music industry for 20 years before going on the show that they let win?
Um is that what I wrote? Its a show about singing, not Dr Phil and singing together. We all go through our hardships in life, but do you really have to bring it to television when your auditioning to SING?
