I know this video is old, but around 7:00 you mentioned a 2-second gap between you and the other vehicle. Here in the USA, I was taught at a 4-second gap between me and the other vehicle. Although I understand the UK has a KMH standard does it still apply in a way of the safe braking distance or is it just in this instance of overtaking? For granted I do take most of your videos for comparison to what I have learned myself from my driving instructor. Most of the people here don't know how to drive or just think their the ones important.
We use MPH here too. Probably the only if not one of the only european countries to do so. I don't know why you would be taught more than 2 seconds usually, your roads are humoungous in comparison, but also most of the vehicle choices I'm guessing tend to be much larger and heavier. I feel US drivers likely have to deal with perpetually more distracted and less adept people on the road and maybe you tend to have more opportunities and space to drive at quicker pace?
Very helpful video, thanks, can you please make a video about parking by the kerb correctly, I always touch the kerb, I am still learning and your videos are helpful 👍
