From a diehard loyal Hornets fan, thanks for putting this out. Graham is so underrated and is not given the publicity or attention he deserves just because he plays in Charlotte. Its the unfortunate truth. Hes also outplaying the hell out of Rozier, but they co exist well on the floor together. He won't win Most Improved because it's only his second year, and the nba goes for popularity when it comes to rewards. It's sad. Hes well deserving. Btw Yes we suck. But its buzz city all day
I am glad to have this recognition about DG. I live in Los Angeles ( big Clipper fan ) but I've been trying to tell anyone about DG this year. No one even knows who he is! Good video.
I've been rooting for the Hornets this season...and not just because of Graham. Washington, Bridges and even Zeller have impressed me so far. And so has Rozier, but I always thought he was talented. It's shameful that no attention is given to Rozier's good play this season yet so much attention was given to his contract, in a negative way. Even if the Hornets don't make the playoffs this can be a good season for them. Bridges and Washington will have to continue their development though. And the Hornets will have to use their cap room correctly for free agency 2020. They have a lot it.
Dude should’ve been on everybody radar after he played trae young in college and dominated but folks don’t have a mind of their own and go with what the media says without paying attention their selves
He got seen now! Nice payday for him! I am very happy D'Tae is carving himself a role in the league. That NOLA team will gel nicely and Devonte' brings a little experience with age. He can put up 40, or give you 10 assists. He really could develop into a 20ppg/8apg guy like he was in 2019. He always has a smile on his face, and will do what he is asked. He will defer and set up guys if needed, or hit big time shots on the kick out. Definitely team friendly for 42 million for 4 years. People also underestimate Devonte's handle. it's EXCELLENT, and he doesn't turn the ball over.
There's an argument/debate to be had, and Graham so FAR is certainly deserving of most improved (again, so far, if he keeps it up). But I gotta go with Bam Adebayo for most improved. He's putting up absolutely ridiculous numbers for a guy at his position, can bring the ball up and run the offense, and can guard all 5 positions.
They sleeping on my guy...Graham is hoisting 8.9 treys a game and making them at a 43 percent clip in just his second season. He’s on pace to make more than 300 3s this year, a mark that has been reached only four times in NBA history, once by James Harden last season and three times by Steph Curry...
Anyone that saw him play in college, would say he would be a player in the NBA. But in sports it's not all about talent, you have to be put in a good situation/team/organization. Definitely not the case with him. His success shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone, it's not to me
@@srdjankomadina9697 I really hope that the hornets make the right moves over the next three years. In my opinion this is the best foundation they have had in a while. They can have a whole fresh start with good draft picks and high value free agents.
@@benjacobs6656 Well, i dont know about their ability to recruit good FA but I do see the potential in Graham, PJ Washington and Bridges. With good draft picks they can make a nice team next year. They need te get rid of Batums contract though. And sign some veterans next summer.
I didn’t even know who Graham was last season now I can’t hear enough of him he’s making moves, I think if he stays (witch I don’t think will happen, sorry hornet fans but your front office is shit) it could turn around the hornets
Jordan Andreassen I don’t follow them very much and honestly they are getting better last I checked they were 23 on the power rankings I’m saying this is a start. They most likely won’t be a playoff team this year but give it 1-2 years and will will start to see a playoff ready hornets team I didn’t even know about the gm change and I apologize for that but the last news I heard about the hornets is the fact that they undercut kemba in contract offerings witch may or may not be true I didn’t look too deep into it
@@fusionsauze713 People don't give Mitch the credit he deserves imo, sorry if I came off hostile. I personally think they undercut Kemba so that he didn't take flak for not being loyal. I loved him but he needed to go, it was the best for both parties. I think there was something under the table that helped Kembas reputation because when you're a small market team, treating your star players poorly will hurt you in FA. At least that's what I hope. I don't even hate the Terry contract tbh. He's still got potential, and JB has always loved playing 2 small guard lineups. Last year, Devonte and Kemba played together a lot during our playoff push. Sure he's overpaid, but are we really trying to contend in the next three years? Maybe he'll play into his contract, maybe not. Worst case, we let him walk or trade him in 3 years. Also our draft picks have been amazing. Cody Martin reminds me a lot of Marcus Smart, Malik has developed really nicely, PJ and Miles are good. Bacon was good for awhile before he started being a black hole on offense trying to ISO every play. I'm ranting so I'll stop. Nobody pays attention to the Hornets and we get a lot of flak for stuff that isnt entirely true. As long as Mitch focuses on not paying Andre Drummond a max, we'll be fine.
Jordan Andreassen the hornets are a franchise that I like has potential if a few major things are changed the young talent of that team in insane, I respect you hornet fans a lot simply because of your loyalty have a good night man
@@jsn23nc he averages 3 turnovers a game, how does he not turn the ball over? And if he's a good defender why do his stats say otherwise? His DWS this season is 0..
