Doc is my favourite, not only a cool outfit, but also a wholesome backstory.

And so we got Zero_one: Sci-fi Lonely binary nerd Rust: teenager who believes in Communism Armstrong: vibing dead astronaut Tesla: Classy electric smart pants Doc: sentient lonely being who discover the meaning of life

My guy just stole some kids soul and formed a band what a legend

I was wondering what style Doc would be in! Having it be a silent film was really clever.

Legit WHO did this music? It's not credited and sounds classical. It's actually so amazing, beautiful and inspiring. Update: I asked Sam Haft in DM's and they spliced together stock audio for this.

I thought Doc was going to have a wacky mystical backstory to go with their voodoo vibes, but this… this is beautiful

Headcanon: when it says Doc discovered the human soul, I assume he accidentally/on purpose stole that kid’s soul

This is really beautiful. I love how this is in the silent film style and kind of explains what the tombsonas are and how they came to be. Doc, you are a beautiful creature, we don't fear you. We want to be your friend!💙💙💙

Ok is it just me or do I sense some kind of passionate bond between the hosts and tombsonas? Like the romantic sounding music in this video when the guy walks up to Doc’s tree and they merge, and “forever and ever are in my heart, my blood coursing through” from zero one, “but I’m okay, I won’t disobey if you take me by the hand and make me chosen” from chosen…. I’m not necessarily suggesting a literal romance, and in chosen the human POV is confused and worried about what’s happening to them, but it definitely feels like there’s more acceptance than fear. I think that would be really cool, like venom and Eddie Brock becoming one and working together, but music edition. Maybe each host feels differently about their situation, like Doc’s host was the first (assuming the host stays the same) and was supposedly willing to merge, and zero one’s host was also happy to have new potential, but maybe the story is different with the others. I can totally see Rust not liking it at first because his free will is gone (which is a lyric in chosen, “miles away”) but eventually coming to like what he can do now that he’s not limited by human capabilities.

The cuteness of doc makes my depression evaporate.

I just feel like doc is actually really sweet for turning into a tree to avoid doing anything wrong and he just gives off the wholesome vibe yah know? 🥺

Finally after all this time, we have them all. So wholesome it can make a grown man cry

I'd definitely tag this as "Retro-gothic" with gothic in the sense of Bram Stoker, Cold Stone Manors, and cities that knew to fear the night. Good Stuff.
