Elle was rescued in Valley Stream by a cat rescue group. This beautiful girl was being bred for meat, and the outdoor hutch she was living in with four other rabbits was opened up to the wild after their prior owners were evicted.Elle is an absolute sweetheart. She is a bit shy and it may take her some time to relax and let her guard down in a new home. With some effort, time, and patience, she'll begin to slowly start exploring and sniffing you and you'll even see her fabulous binkies!
Our adoption procedure includes a phone interview, home visit, and any necessary education of potential adopters. Our adoption fee is a $150 donation per rabbit. All of our rabbits are spayed/neutered, health checked by rabbit-savvy vets, vaccinated for the RHDV2 virus, and fostered in private homes.For more information about adoptions, please email us: information@longislandrabbitrescue.org
