I wanted to make a very special video of a piece that belongs to my heart. That Next Place is one of the best themes in film music history that I am know. Such great melodies and this is one of the longest Thomas Newman piece I know from the great Thomas Newman. Actually I believe this is his longest cue he composed! If not then please let me know :-)
More than 12 years ago I uploaded a cover of this theme and it was fun to play. But I was never happy with the accuracy of it so I didn't enjoy it as much as it should be. But after more than a decade I am super happy with the accuracy and the outcome of it. So here is my new recorded and arranged piano arrangement.
The Meet Joe Black soundtrack works extremely well for piano solo and Thomas Newman composed one of his golden gems. I hope this Meet Joe Black piano tutorial will help you to motivate to start playing this yourself. Also here you can get the That Next Place sheet music pdf:

Due to your upload frequency and quality visually and audio, you should have more than me by now, I lose subs now and don’t gain any, this is the bad algorithm that doesn’t support artists like us, talking about other people playing piano gets you more views now.

I hope you find the motivation to upload new stuff in the future. As your work is absolutely excellent! I am not sure what you mean with talking about other people playing piano gets you more views nowadays. Nowadays you have to be extremely quick with a piano video on a brand new movie, and that gives views (even though the accuracy is poor). @@NoudvanHarskamp Hey Noud! RU-vid is a mystery sometimes. I didn't get notified about your comment and only just saw that you wrote. Anyway, I am doing well, I hope you are too! You are kind of killing it on RU-vid, aren't you! 😀 It is great to see your channel flourish, I all but given up on mine. I just don't have the time and energy these days. I sometimes put so much work into a video for a miniscule amount of views. I know it shouldn't really be about that but about the satisfaction itself but it's hard to justify the effort when time is so scarce. Anyway, I'm really happy for you! Keep on playing. 🙏☺️

Hey Alex! Thanks for letting me know! You are right that you don't get notifications on these comments. I totally understand you and I have the same issue. Having a family and dealing with so less time next having a full time job. It needs planning, motivation and energy. Mine new videos are doing terrible but that is part of the game, but it's quite frustrating when you have spent so many times for a video and getting so less views. The same is for this video which will probably generate no views at all at a certain point. While it took me months to get to this point. I just hope to continue doing the work I like and do my best. I hope you find the motivation, energy and time again as I really love your videos a lot! Keep playing too mate!
