Loa, don't accept ppls limitations for you. I can see u will change our world. I'm a pediatric ventilator nurse and have just leaned about this upgraded vent!! It looks awesome and I hope my vent family qualifies for this. Thank you...and God bless.

You are an inspiration and an amazing person who has so much to offer to everyone you meet. Wonderful attitude and perspective. you notice that they never show a poor family with a handicapped child ,they only show rich families because a poor family would never get to have any of what you see in this video .
I literally just had the same thought. It is tough even if your family have means by which to make your life truly comfortable but if you are poor or generally don't have the kind of budget that would allow you to have the best physiotherapy and continue in higher education that great divide that we talk about becomes more apparent. Please don't feel as if anything was your fault. I'm not religious...but for some reason, this was meant to happen. You are destined to do something great as a vented quadriplegic. For instance, you're the ambassador of VOCSN and I'm a C4 -C6 incomplete quad and when I visit pity-ville, it's a great reminder to know there may be someone in less fortunate shape. I hope that didn't sound negative...I just meant you gave me courage.
Loa, have you heard of the “dancing molecules “ in clinical trials now to restore nerves around the injury site. I’m a tetraplegic from a severe staph infection in my neck and fingers crossed we both may see the light at the end of the tunnel soon and get some improvement. Apparently this has nothing to do with the stem cell method, it’s nano technology to stimulate nerve growth? Cheers, Glenn
I use all five machines, and am trying for the third time to get a VOCSN. It's such a mess taking me anywhere, usually I don't get to. It's not the life vent patients should live. I've nagged my DME for a VOCSN, as I'm already not doing well on the TRILOGY EVO!!! i'm listerally deteriorating on this thing, and the settings are high. I'm giving it a few more days to get this VOCSN, or I'm moving to a ventilator dependent facility, because they have GOOD ICU ventilators. Home ventilators just aren't made good enough. The only good one you're going to find is the VOCSN. And I'm FIGHTING TO GET IT, and It's not going well at all!!! Besides I might be happy in a facility. They'll have better equipment, they'll have HOSPITAL GRADE CARE!!! You can only get sub-standard care at home. And my Trilogy EVO isn't even Sub-Standard. IT'S KILLING ME! I'm suffocating on it, and I'm on very high esettings! To those who could get VOCSN!!!! YOU WER BLESSED, because most patients won't be as free and as mobile as you!

Hi there hot stuff, my name is Randy. I just wanted to say that you’re doing a great job and suggest you have someone make you a sleeve for your tubing. Go to a material store and pic out something you like, that will go with a lot of your clothes, you will need 7 inch wide by how ever long your tubing is and have them make a tube with it. When your in bed your caregiver or mom, whoever can drop your tubing into it, trach adapter first. It will look great. C2 quad 43 years.
