There is a guy at NORTH CAROLINA A&T who will be running against Boling this weekend say hello to RANDOLPH ROSS and he like Boling is a true frosh Ross posted the fastest time in the world in the 400 with a INDOOR SCHOOL MARK of 45.44 posted at The Texas Tech Invitational.Boling is at Georgia and they should meet in the 4x4.
@@lute1215 (edit: "their" corrected to there) Ancient Greeks (4 ethnic groups: Dorians, Aeolians, Achaeans, and Ionians), Thracians, Illyrians, and Anatolians were completely different genetically to the peoples living in these places today. In the words of a Greek tour guide when asked by a tourist why modern Greeks don't have blonde hair and blue eyes like the ancient statues, he said "That's what 400 years of Turkish rule will do." Genetics research backs this sentiment, as do contemporary sources. The ancient reliefs, statues, and busts have obvious European features. A northwestern European man sees the face of Menelaus and instantly sees kinship (whether real or imagined). People worship gods who look like themselves (noted by Xenophanes the Ionian), creation stories "god/gods made man in his/their image", obviously it's vice versa, men make gods in their image, Thracians worshipped gods with red hair . See the 4th century BC fresco of Thracian woman (wikipedia article "Ostrusha mound"). See the reproduction of Phidias' Athena Parthenos based on descriptions of the original. Hesiod in 700s BC described Troy as "the land of fair women". Theban Pelopidas was told to sacrifice a red-haired virgin to win in battle (according to Plutarch). The paint residue from statues and figurines from the ancient Greek period have reddish brown hair and blue eyes. Homer described gods as yellow-haired or golden-haired with bright eyes. Aphrodite of Knidos was recreated hundreds of times in the ancient world, paint residue analysis shows she was painted blonde. Interestingly, Roman statesmen and intellectuals show similar racial characteristics. Gaze upon the face of Lucius Junius Brutus, founder of the Roman Republic. Those blue eyes are the original glass used by the sculptor, 4th century BC. Some Greek and Roman poets (Ovid, Archilochus) describe their favorite lovers as girls with fair hair and pale complexions. I could go on for a long time. The Hellenes of old are gone. Forever. The ones who fled blended into other populations and the ones who stayed were stamped out. They are an extinct people. After Constantinople fell in 1453, it was a steep downhill until 1821 Greek revolution, but by then there was no recovery. Modern "Greeks" have little to no historical or genetic claim to the achievements of the peoples who made those marble statues. They are deracinated Turks (combined with every other ethnic group to conquer Greece in the intervening 2500 years between Socrates and the present, starting with the Macedonians in 338 BC). Turkish policies of genocide and brutal oppression of ethnic and religious minorities (Byzantine holdovers, Christian Greeks, etc. Also the Armenians) helped "seal the deal" on making sure Greece and Asia Minor would never again be the same. Also the Turks blew up the Parthenon and destroyed/melted down as many marble and bronze statues as they could find.
@@0besePlatypus I know that but there is a diffrence between scandinavian blond (Matt's type) and natural greek blond. Greek blonde is light brown or dark blonde. Most blond greeks are from the northern part of the country.
@Marcalo De Unnero What someone deserves, and the support they garner, are two entirely different things. His work and effort earn him that medal, regardless of his attitude. However, his attitude earns him the support he's getting.
Nobody deserves anything. Deserve is something made up for people who feel entitled to shit they don't earn. This kid worked for everything and gained it through pure effort, not because he "deserves" it
they don't drug test in high school - wait a few years to judge....& he's almost 19, so was he held back ? Maybe that one extra year of physical maturity, coupled with possible PED, have helped him - sorry for bearer of pessimism , I'm just a messenger
People saying he is in for a huge awakening in college.... You do realize that his best time, would've put him in 7th..... in THE OLYMPICS???? hahahahaha Imagine when this dude gets top notch trainers, & extensive practice.. And steroids?! lmfao give me a break. The dude is a pencil.
I need y’all to realize what he did on that 4x4. He overtook 1st place (who ran a 47.7 split) with a 3 second deficit. That does not happen. Craziness!!!!
@Green Giant Disagree. Had Boland not been there he would have won handily. I admire 2nd place runner. BUt like I said before. He was up against a Super Man.And a suggestion-- instead of tearing someone down try to build someone up. It would make for a better world. I was like you once but then I turned my brain on.
@@MattCoatesMusic nah I hear you man he's a white guy oh, but when you really look at his features you can see something else is their man, and that is Fosho.
@@anthonybryant Maybe, though he looks kind of Danish or something to me. Most white guys in the states are originally from the British Isles or Germany so they would look a small bit different anyway.
Every so often a kid comes along and is just different and faster than everyone else. Lets hope he stays true and develops his talent to it fullest. There's women, drugs and a host of distractions that can derail him but we hope for the best in this young man we'll be following his career.
This is true. There was a great basketball prospect that came out of my high school. He got two girls pregnant during his first semester of college. He was forced to drop out.
He looks to be a natural born runner, who maintains his pacing, and has one heck of a kick, to finish a race. I can see this young man, being in the Olympics one day.
Arvind Talukdar what does him being a future olympian have to do with “faster people” playing football? and even if you were to convert the fastest 40 yard dash from the combine this year to his 100 in this video it’s almost an entire second slower, kid has speed
ImLikeVro making those conversions isn’t always revealing. The 100m is too unlike the 40 yard dash to scale. I’m not saying he isn’t fast, but generally the 40 yard dash is also full of ppl several years older than him so the extra weight might slow them down.
@@NotShowingOff Facts bro. Just look at guys like Tyreek hill who gain weight for football and would be elite sprinters if they actually trained for sprinting
I’m a former cross country + 1600 m + 3200 m runner (HS + NCAA D2). This kid is on a whole other level. That kind of raw talent is incredibly rare. A 17 year old running a sub 44.74 400 m AND a 10.13 100 m, is insane! Matthew Bolting, anyone?
He has the best form of anyone out there right now. As he starts training at the Olympic facilities he'll begin to mature. Once his man strength sets in he's top 5 in the world all day. Maybe even 3.
Darin Evans ok but there were athletes who were faster than him at his age and arent world class now. What makes you think thats how it works. You Americans think everything is about the USA. There were jamaicans and asians who ran faster at 18 btw
Excellent sprinters don't make excellent swimmers usually. The optimal sprinter and optimal swimmer body is opposite in so many ways, such as in whether muscles are fast-twitch or slow twitch, limb-to-torso ratio, and bodyfat percentage. If Boling can swim good too that is impressive.
@@georgemuniz3117 hello George I see you’ve found my comment from 5 years ago. I haven’t read ur message but maybe in 5 more years I’ll check. Anyways have a goodnight as I’m currently in Australia where it’s 1:38am 🛌
CJ Max they had that one guy filming from the middle, and they also used a different camera angle for the broadcast of the race so idk why they chose the front facing view
Corey Barnes coaches don’t always have something to do with his speed and ability , after all it’s his hard work , & he’s the one running . not the coach
@@mikec8469 true, it's like boxing some people punch harder some people jump higher some people are faster. Just the way you're born. Training can only improve you so much.
Fastest in Texas...don't insult him. He is the fastest in the U.S., maybe in the world. We are very po proud of him in Texas. He is so humble. I don't think I have ever seen him celebrate.

Henry, please calm down. I know that this happened, funny enough this was a discussion which came up earlier between my house mate and I. The only difference was that I was a lot more respectful towards this topic than you are. Relax, take a few steps back, and stop generalising black people.
@Green Giant (About the comments you replied with earlier) - I don't want to discredit what this guy has done. In fact, I haven't. It is true that a lot of fast sprinters who have broken records are indeed people of colour. But I think that this kid is talented and should absolutely be credited for it. He obviously works very hard, and seeing how no one in his family were previously sprinters, even he admits that it's due to a lot of hard work. Hard work should never be looked down upon. I also understand where you're coming from, however, I do think this is a generalisation. Many people of colour have been able to achieve a lot and like this kid, that is through hard work. Generally speaking, a LOT of people who are of colour and different background suffer from poverty. A journal from the economist says that the poverty rate amongst black Americans is at 22%, higher than the average American at 13%. And yes, maybe it might be true that in the past few years black Americans could be over-represented in media portrayals of poverty. But it would be unfair to disregard those are ARE in poverty, and those who HAVE been given an unfair start to life. Grouping your anger towards a particular race/ group of people is unfair. You don't need to teach a child that for them to know. Please think about your feelings towards that group, is it fair? Is it just?
@Henry1183 you won't understand because you're not black idiot , we have had white Presidents since the beginning of the presidency so having a black or biracial president is a big deal dumb ass , because the way this country was set up if you were anything besides white you are second-class citizens ...
"I ran really well in the 400 and no one really noticed and then as soon as I started running the 100 everyones like he came out of no where... well I ran the 400 last year" HAHAHAHAH i died at this the sass
Not really. Concerning FORM.. starting form is a B+...other parts of his form in the race are an A+. I am rating separate parts of his race. When you say overall, yeah you could "average" them all up and give it say an A or an A-. However, in race when you say overall there's a trump card....if you WIN ("finish") against great competition...like a UIL meet in Texas...well,you get an A+ "overall" on the race "in general". If you're grading or rating all the individual elements (like a "start", for example) then the mean (avg) of this elements is his Technque/technical score or rating. So I wouldn't use the word overall when average in technical data. But yeah,if asked how did he did "overall"..and assuming we are not solely talking about technique..well MATT gets an A+ for running a badass race and getting first place in a UIL STATE high school meet (in TX,no less) while blowing away the rest of the field. I meant my earlier comment as a compliment...not a demerit
A true phenom. It looks effortless for him. That is the true sign of next level skill. It takes tremendous effort for anyone to preform like this, but when it doesn't look like it, watch out.
Tyson Gay, the American record holder, ran 10.46 at age 18, and 21.23 for the 200 meters. The next year he brought it down to 10.08 in 2002, while in college. Gay is considered the greatest 100 meter sprinter in American history, yet he was also recently busted for using performance-enhancing drugs, so his record may be suspect. His record of 9.69 I believe he set at age 27. Bolt's 200 meter record at age 18 was considerably faster than Boling's, about .3 faster, at 20.25. His first 100 meter time I can only find was already when he was about 20, and it was 10.03. His 400 meter time at age 18 is much slower than Boling's. Christian Coleman, another contender for the gold medal in the 100 meters, ran 10.18 at age 18, then the next year brought it down to 9.96, then down to 9.78, at age 22. Noah Lyles, at age 18, ran 10.08, which is faster than Boling's best wind-legal of 10.13. His current best, at just age 21, is 9.86, and he's still improving. Yet, you have to remember, Boling has only been concentrating on the 100 meters for one year, which explains why his times improved a half a second in his senior year. Boling is also taller than Lyles and Coleman. Taller sprinters tend to mature later. What I find so unusual intriguing about Boling is his speed endurance, in being so fast in the 100 meters as well as the 400 meters. Almost no sprinter concentrating on the 100 and 200 meters is able to do that. Even the current world best, Noah Lyles, his best 400 meter time, an event he doesn't compete in, is several seconds slower than Boling's. It makes me wonder what Boling could do with the 200 meters, at the world class level. Sprinters decelerate after 60 meters. Speed endurance takes over. He's still many years away from peak. His endurance will only improve, along with his speed. Its hard to say whether he could ever challenge Bolt's record. It depends on what events he concentrates on. I do think he will be world-class in the 100 meters, and may one day challenge the American record.
Matthew will likely get faster as he enters his twenties, because most sprinters do. If he manages 9.8 or 9.7 he will still be one of the fastest human beings in the world.
Told yall Texas made he knows the real meaning of speed with our own bodies...good luck be looking forward to seeing u grow n score...South Texas love bro...the sound of that wind as it passes your ears is a beautiful thing...✌🤛
Curtis Hoffman - track guy here , he will get ate up and spit out in the Olympics ( they're doing 9.70 and faster) let alone college every college has at least 1 guy who's running under 10.0 seconds easily so that puts him 5 meters behind them , I think he just reached his peak early and will not shock the college world , to many great sprinters....thanks anyway !
You go man! My brother from another mother, God knows how you can use this platform for BRINGING God the Glory(attention) shine my friend and I'm praying for your health and longevity
@@B1uUK lmao don't compare to me. I'm just comparing him to others. He can't do a 100 meters under 10.0 seconds and he won't get much better since he finished his growth. He'll be an average player (a good sprinter for a white american that's for sure)
He is amazing combination of genetics, technique, and training. It's great to see. He dusted those guys in the 100, he was gliding along and the other guys were busting themselves to catch him. Let's hope he can make it to the Olympics.
Reason why no one notice last year , is because his 100m is under 10 secs IN HIGH SCHOOL, WHICH IS INSANE. HE HAS THE FASTEST H.S 100M EVER! But his 400m time is also insane.
Reason y no one noticed him is because he was no one to be noticed. He went from a 46.51 400m flat in 2018 to being able to run a 44.7 4x4 split...He went from NEVER running a 100m to the fastest HS'er in the US....All in one year and he's been training for years. Wake up and smell the coffee bro.
Awesome! I ran the 100m in 10.1 in my 8th grade field day event. The gym teachers were literally jumping around like animals at the stopwatch time. We lived in such a small town and being super poor, we never could have gotten the exposure that young folks do today. I’m glad that we’ve expanded beyond our small towns and our children’s talents can truly be showcased and used for their greater good.
That kid is only 1.63 seconds away from running the fastest 400 in the world holy crap this kid is insane (Yes I know it was in the 4x4 but still this kid is no joke)
*The reason why this kid is winning because in his class he DECELERATES the least and is able to keep his TOP SPEED through the races this winning, would be excited to see what he does against faster runners🔥🤘😎*
There is no doubt this young man is talented- a true high school great.....I grew up with many of my peers exhibiting the same traits. Let's see how he does in college when he is surrounded by talented people.
Fantastic,, this guy could be amazing with the right people behind him,, I remember watching Micheal Johnson as a youngster,, Went to every Olympics he competed in,, He people look like they were stood still... 🥇🥇🥇🥇
