For 4 years I thought that Tails purposely shot Sonic for comedy. I only just noticed that Tails ACTUALLY did shoot Metal Sonic but the bullet ricochet to Real Sonic instead. Makes it even more funnier.

By certain metrics. I mean, the Mean Bean Machine player who also happens to be fastest on foot, sure. But there may well exist, in the Sonic universe, someone who can play the game much faster, like those insanely good Tetris players. Tails might well beat Sonic in that regard!

commander144 It's strange, but I recall Fistman being named Knuckles in the sonic 3 instruction manual and games called Sonic and Knuckles, as well as Knuckles Chaotix. Eggman was also named as Robotnik. Guess it was a European thing or something.

i know a lot of people are mentioning tails shooting metal and the bullet ricocheting but I honestly love how quickly things escalate with him pulling out a gun 3 seconds after landing and the implication that tails just had a gun on him to begin with and at the ready
I like how Metal constantly mispronounces "Hedgehog" when referring to Sonic, but when referring to other characters that are not hedgehogs, it can say "hedgehog" without fail.

In case you don't get the joke, a whale is slang for a gambler that has or spends a lot of money in a casino. And a hedge fund is a limited partnership of investors that uses high risk methods in the hopes of getting a lot of money.

This is far and away one of Dorkly's most underrated skits. The pacing and wordplay was fantastic! By the way, Metal Sonic sounds eerily like people completely new to the Sonic franchise.

@@petrmatko6628Not really, looking from the comments on the video, it seemed that a lot of people thought that Tails shot the real Sonic thinking he's the fake while it's not the case. I say it's due to most people not seeing the frame that showed the bullet hitting but deflected off metal. So the joke became that instead of hitting Sonic because Tails thinks he's the fake, Tails hit Sonic knowing that he's the real one.

This is to all the people who think Trails the Hedgehog shot the REAL racial slur. Look at 1:29. You can clearly see a sprite of the ricochet when he shot Metal resulting with the REAL sonic getting shot.
***** It's not just the eye, you can actually hear the bullet hitting something metallic, clearly indicating that not only did you see the bullet but hear it hitting Metal, but the ricochet killed Sonic
Dr. Robotnik didn't have time for that part. He would have put that in but he was too busy stopping the Metal Trails clone, Fails the Headgear, from taking over his secret laboratory and making perfect clones of all his -badniks- madsticks
