My life is online and shared with each and every one of you everyday. I wanted you to get to know my mom a bit more, like you got to know my dad. In todays episode, we chat a bit about her, her journey of meeting and marrying my dad, and their life after divorce. Some questions she answered I knew, and some came as a surprise but I’m excited to share my mom with y’all too now! Honestly this exceeded my expectations! I knew it would be a good one, but it was freaking amazing! I didn’t realize I could relate so much to you with family and being raised a certain way. Oh my gosh. I wanted to cry when you guys talked about when your mom started dating the latest man. I wish my mom and I could have a convo like that. That was so beautiful and mature. It gives such a good perspective too as an adult vs a teenager❤️

❤ Hi from NJ! We’ve got a Really similar story. My daddy passed in 2015 from cancer at 52. I have step parents, half siblings, moms been remarried 3 times too. Love these videos ❤ your momma is the sweetest! Keep ‘em coming!

I'm only 2 mins in, but i can agree so far the most challenging part of the journey of losing my mom is not getting to ask her questions. After she passed I got really into reading, it was a way I could disconnect from my 'real' feelings and go into a different world. She loved reading so it felt like a connection with her. But, I would LOVE to talk about the books with her or even ask her what her favorite books were.

Whoa this was a great episode!! So many similarities with my own family and the stepdad/sisters etc hit close to home. My dad passed and half of the people i thought were family no longer talk to me and have been shady ever since. 💜

my parents divorced when i was two as well and i never wished them back together. knowing them as individuals made me hold tight to the idea that they weren't meant to be together. but i always say while they weren't meant to be together forever they were meant to parenttogether. it hasn't been easy but their friendship now is like no other.

My mom did the same thing to my brother and I. Left my dad when I was 12 and within less than a month another man was sitting at our dinner table. She’s never ever considered how that affected us and has never apologized or taken accountability. Such a selfish thing to do to your children and I still hold so much resentment.

Okay so wait your dad dated your stepmom first but they broke up, then he married your mom and after they divorced, he went back and married your stepmom? That was confusing but I think I understand?
