We originally bought Snip to compete but obviously didn’t anticipate her needing surgery. She’s still rehabbing and a few months away from jumping. We’ve also been advised to give her a very relaxed winter with not too much work so hence I started looking for Percy.

@@lilpetchannel but you already had a horse if you had of help him with his confidence he cud of done but you sold him in stead l am just really sad about it I thought you weren’t that kind of person and I still don’t think you are but you cud of believed in Smokey xxxx

@@katie12349 Not all horses want to compete and I think she made a very selfless decision to sell him and it was the best decision for him. He clearly wasn't happy competing and it wasn't fair on him to force him and try to train him out of it when Georgia wanted to compete and go out and do things and progress. It's not at all that she didn't believe in him, she has said before how talented he was, she just put his happiness and wellbeing first. She wanted to keep him forever but the perfect opportunity came up for the perfect home and it was the right decision for both Smokey and herself and gave the opportunity for Smokey to make another rider so many happy memories like he did for Georgia and teach another rider some things, while also giving Georgia the chance to find the perfect little horse. Maybe stop comenting on things you know nothing about and clearly isn't anything to do with you when if you watched the Smokey update video you would know it was already such a hard decision for them. No need to put other people down for making a sensible decision and actually caring about their horse and what makes their horse happy when it's sadly very rare in this sport lately.

That was why we bought Snip but we weren’t aware of he needing surgery when we bought her. Hence she’s still rehabbing and not able yet to do what we planned. I’m hoping next spring she’ll have finished rehabbing and they’ll both be out eventing
