UNLESS the UK gets out of the EU. Then we might have a chance. If you don't mind the UK being a united nations then thats not a problem. I honestly wish it could be. But i don't this a tiny island with almost 70million people (Canada and Australia have 20-40 million just think about that.) and now more because of immigration can handle all different kinds of people living side by side. From super strict muslims (ofc not all muslims. However some.) who want sharia law in Britain to really liberal, progressive, open minded types from all sorts of countries. A population of diverse people like this living beside each other or in the same island (which you can drive from one end of to the other in 8 hours.) is obviously going to cause some serious tension. Then add the fact that there are a huge amount of people who feel the land is more theirs than people who have immigrated to the country in the last 50-100 years. These would be the British and tbh they have every right to feel this way. Im sure the people of Syria would act similarly if the role and situation was reversed (aka the UK being the war torn country and Syria being the country taking in immigrants pouring over into their country.) Yeah just a recipe for disaster the EU and Britain are unless we exit europe and stop this plan made in hell. As much as we would love for England to be a cultural/diverse mosaic its going to instead, be a melting pot with a huge divide eventually forming within the population. Which as a result could cause some major unrest. Just saying. Sorry i didnt have time to check what i wrote over, grammar, etc as i have to go but it should make sense hopefully lol.
