I’m a track athlete and I got injured so badly a few years ago and it ruined me mentally more than it did physically that when I was physically healed, I never ran again after that because of how badly the injury affected me mentally and emotionally. After watching the World Cup and not only seeing Ellie but Hayley too, after their career ending injuries playing on the pitch and impacting the team so much, they gave me that extra motivation and push to run on a track again and that’s something that I could never thank them enough for it. Ellie and this team is impacting the country more than they think not only on the soccer field, but in other sports too. Watching the team and Ellie play in Perth after the strength they gave me to run again was the most emotional moment of my life. Thank you💚💛
@@goldengooseedits4386 Hahaha to play women's soccer you don't need much, that's why they will never have the attention much less the recognition than men, it's good that they don't earn the same as they do. 🤣🤣
Day 5 of commenting on Matildas videos until they notice me. Ellie such a strong play on and off the field, you can see in this video how hard you working to play in the Olympics it's amazing, I know you have inspired so many men and women and children from all different country's. UP THE TILLIE'S
when I saw her coming up from the juniors I thought she looked so 'girlie'. She is maybe the fiercest of all the Matildas and as tough as old boots. After seeing her get up and shake off getting cold cocked by Crystal Dunn's clearance, I knew she was a beast of a competitor. I've seen her hunt down players that have fouled her teammates as well. Still so young as well - we can look forward to many more years of enjoying her racing up the right line. It would be cool if she followed Bompastor to Chelsea. Catley, Foord and CooneyX on Arsenal and Carpenter and Kerr on Chelsea.
