I'm an adoptive mom of three and I can't tell you how much I Appreciate mommas telling Thier birthday stories I didn't get that and I love listening to the experiences. I think it's a privilege to be allowed to hear mommas story. I wouldn't change my experience of being a momma for a millisecond but I do love to hear what it's like to carry and birth a child.

@@megroux bless you.. we adopted three little ones under 4 so one day we were a childless couple married 12 years the next day we drove home with three tiny children in car seats and the wiggles playing on the car stereo.....I kept looking in the car mirror at them because I couldn't believe it. They are all early 20s now and won't leave home 😂

Love birth stories too! I admire you and your sister so much! I have 4 children currently but want more. I love being pregnant and being a homemaker. Congratulations!! He is adorable!! You are a trooper, having all those home births. Don’t know how you do it, but I admire you! I ended up having Csections with all 3 of my births but I was just so grateful for safe deliveries and healthy babies. No matter your birth journey, that’s the goal. I love to hear birth stories too and I’m 55 and a grandmother now. But I still love hearing every small detail, I never get tired of it!! God bless you and your sweet family!❤

Hearing you say the ring of fire didn’t really cause pain encouraged me ! Pregnant with baby #3 and like you , contractions are intense but not what I would call *painful* but the pushing part + extreme pressure + ring of fire always scares me ! I too have been knocked for pushing on my back but it’s the most natural position for me and I have felt the most in control that way. It can work so differently for everyone . No tearing for any ( so far !)

Pregnant with my fourth after a loss last year and I am so teary thinking we will be blessed to have a new life within our family. I’ve never had a natural labor and last pregnancy ended in a Csection due to placenta previa so I am so excited to give birth this time and I have been looking forward to your story, thanks for sharing!

Love your birth story ❤ I have had 3 home births so far and I totally agree with the peacefulness after when everyone leaves and it’s just you and the baby. ❤ and the feeling of excitement when your kids finally wake up and get to go into your room to see the new baby. It’s the best feeling. I took videos of my two older ones meeting the baby and I will treasure those memories ❤

I too have been very blessed with a wonderful birth team. My husband’s name is Lewis (Gareth Lewis) but he goes by Lewis. We have had 9-10 pound babies every time.

Beautiful, beautiful story ❤ I’m glad for you that everything went smoothly and that you have another little one to enjoy. With my last pregnancy (5th), I had a new midwife and she told me about Pelvic Floor Therapy. She said all women who have had many pregnancies should do it. It strengthens your whole lower body. Before this I have had really bad after birth pain, especially with the 4th. This time with the 5th I had almost no pain. I wonder if that’s why. Also, my labor was great- not painful until right toward the vey end, and the baby came out completely in 2 pushes. And recovery was very quick. Anyway, just sharing that info! I could sneeze with a full bladder at 9 months pregnant, and no pee came out! This was after only 3 months of doing the program- 4-5 days a week for 15-20 mins a day. I used an app instead of going in to PT.

Huuuge congratulations! I'm always so envious of women who have pretty long breaks between contractions. I have two babies and on both I had frequent and long contractions, lasting 1min30sec with break of about a minute between them for few hours.. not very typical pattern either. I also had Braxton hicks on my second, so it was hard to tell when labour actually started so I started logging them on an app and three hours later figured out it was early labour contractions rather than Braxton hicks. Hearing you talk about body pain from pushing, I can totally relate from my first who was unmedicated, I was holding on to the bed rails with every contraction and push that I was so sore for weeks!
