“I love my patients, so just hearing their stories and helping them through when they’re struggling, that’s the thing that really motivates me,” says pediatric sports medicine physician, Kristina Wilson, MD. “Watching kids go back on the field is probably the greatest and most rewarding thing.”
Dr. Wilson has been fascinated by muscles and bones since she was a child. And today, as the Associate Professor of Clinical Practice of Orthopedics at Children's Hospital Colorado, Dr. Wilson shares her lifelong passion for the musculoskeletal system with her patients. She finds fulfillment in not only treating injuries, but helping young people achieve health and healing so they can return to the activities they love.
“I think the thing that fascinates me is just how the body works,” says Dr. Wilson. “I get to teach that to kids every day.”
