Now that our former foster daughter "Miss A" is well past her 18th birthday, graduated H.S., and is (as she says) lower-case grown... It's time for you all to meet her! She updates us about work, school, future, and what it was like to be on the channel.

it melts my heart to know that not only is Auriana thriving, but so is her family, ESPECIALLY that you still are able to have a relationship with them. i admire her parents not only for healing themselves for whatever happened that put their kids into foster care, but to have and encourage a relationship with you all. i can't imagine the mix of emotions haha. i hope Auriana and her family keep on doing awesome

HER HAIR!!!!! I love it. Her name is so perfect for her too it really does fit. And “I’m grown💅” has me laughing so hard. Also have her see if any colleges she’s thinking about gives scholarships for the top 10% of her class. I know a lot of the colleges near me offer money for top 10% of your class

This was the update I didn't know I needed today! I also wanted to say that not only am I someone who plans to foster in the future, but you're channel made me aware of ways to support kids in care through my work in the healthcare field. Speaking of healthcare, you can often get scrubs secondhand if nurses or other hospital staff switch hospital systems that happen to use a different color! Might be worth asking any healthcare worker friends if they kept old ones from an old job or something too.

Walmart has some fairly inexpensive scrubs AND cute prints on tops that the little kids would love! Mandala is also a less expensive brand of scrubs but loads of people like. Sometimes you can even find scrubs at places like Goodwill too

I remember watching the pre-placement preparations for Miss A. and hearing the excitement and nervousness in your voice about having a teen come. Then the second video sharing how the first few days went and seeing the calm and peace come back on your face. Flash-forward to this video and finally seeing Aurianna for the first time I feel such happiness seeing how you two interact still like you did in all the other videos. Congratulations on nursing school!

Poshmark and mercari for scrubs…can find a lot of great condition used one. Plain color pants and then mix & match tops (most of my Winnie the Pooh scrub tops came for one of these)

I remain in awe that you made such a huge impact on Aurianna’s life that she continues to be apart of your family. Luv luv luv this! This channel is the reason I want to still foster - especially teen girls. I love my babies, but there is a love in my heart for the teen girls out there. Thank you! This is the first channel I watched when we were getting our first foster license. So crazy that it has been 4 yrs! JCPenney has a Suit Up event, and you can get scrubs for cheap!

Absolutely loved hearing from Ariana having done respite care for foster kids I know how amazing they all are. Ariana is a beautiful ambassador for foster children and her piece of the fostering puzzle is part of the story of all that can be gained for the child, their family and the foster families.

My Mom is a retired NICU nurse and actually saw the first incubators being rolled into the NICU. I think you will be fantastic in the NICU or the PICU!
