I know right. I had my own kind call me boujee because I own my houses out right, my cars..with no, mortgage, no debt. Sorry, it’s called HARD WORK! Years of long hours as nurse, busting my behind as a single mother to be able to leave behind, something for my children. My parents didn’t live in an era where that was possible for them to do for us, just don’t want to have my beautiful children struggle like I did growing up. They been taught how to give back and WILL make an impact on this world instead of struggling to survive day to day. God’s good. We’re humbly grateful.

Well if that isn’t the most beautiful story I’ve heard today in the mist of all this heartbreaking chaos over the loss of Mr. George Floyd. What an incredible mother and son. This is actually brought tears to my eyes to know that black people are still struggling to this day. I’m a white woman and I an embarrassed to be an American citizen. To live in a country that’s still thinks that this is all right to dehumanize another human being is unconscionable. Thank God I was raised by a mother that taught me humility and empathy for everyone. Again what a lovely mother and son! May your life always be blessed
I am also a "white" woman I stand with my black brother's and sisters... I am sick and tired of watching the police murder people of all colors, especially black people. I am sick of the racism in my Country and am also embarrassed by my Country and the president who seems bent on dividing this Country further! Everyone deserves to live...and have a full life. You're partially right, I personally did not protest because I was waiting on COVID-19 test results (which were thankfully negative) and know faith does not excuse being safe. I knew I could speak out online though, and send my support to those in my life. I think it's okay you don't believe in traditional gods/God, because I believe God is a lot of things like love and energy. Religion or anything should not distract the purpose of this movement though. So to you, I say I send positive vibes and thoughts which are absolutely just as valid. Saying "God bless" does not excuse no action, 100% agree but it communicates that my thoughts and heart are with yours. It never hurts, and sometimes can help a whole lot.
