David Hyde Pierce, Rachel Bay Jones, Jenn Colella, and Gavin Creel were among the tidal wave of talent that crashed into the Sofitel New York to meet the press and show off some newly minted Tony nominee pins. The first-timers spoke about the mind-blowing experience of being nominated for Broadway's biggest prize, while the veterans offered their advice for what to expect next. Check it out here.

I met Jenn Colella after seeing Come From Away and she was incredibly kind, humble, and down to Earth. It's really funny because right after she made the entire audience laugh, cry, and experience an emotional roller coaster she just up and walked onto the street dissapearing into a crowd of people. She is basically famous and; at the time, had just completed a Tony worthy show, then WALKED out into the streets as if it was nothing. An amazing woman who deserves the nomination with absolute certainty.

Hi Hannah, I just wanted to say that you just brought tears to my eyes. Jenn Colella is my beloved and wonderful Aunt that is everything you just said and more. Her whole life she has been the most humble, and caring person I have grown up knowing. She has been in the Broadway World for a long time now and is finally getting the recognition she deserves. Out of all the categories, I think the most exciting one is Featured Actress in a Musical. Five lovely, talented women, two of which are first-time nominees, and none of the other three have ever won. No matter what the outcome is, I know I'll be excited for the winner, and heartbroken for the other four.

I'm very proud to say I am from the island that Come From Away is based out of, I live just 2 hours outside Gander itself.
