I was attacked by thieves at upsa. They attacked us and stole our money and phones in fact everything we had. They attacked us with weapons and they hurt my friend very badly with their weapon because refused to give his to them. Because the event scared me my asthma came from there because of the shock. I was taken home by a friend and my other friend who was hurt was rushed to the hospital. It makes me scared all the time till now. U can never forgive them because they made me suffer with my illness out of the shock which haven't come for years and my friend who was in a dilemma. I don't pity thieves any longer😢😢😢😢
I can never forgive any thief😢😢😢😢. I was only 18 yrs at the time and is being a year now. They deserve the sentence. I won't pity any of them because of my dilemma and that of my friend. We reported to the police and they never helped. 😢😢😳😳😳😢😢

Ghana is now like a joke, the judges go to sit down there and make any choice they want because they have committed a crime😢😢 we have to stand up and do something we can't let this continues as it can happen to anyone. In 1994 a cousin brother and I went through the same situation at Takoradi beach from some guys in New Takoradi. We met the guys at the beach who pretended to like us so we moved together to take some beers and after we got drank they robbed us of everything on us.That is the lifestyle of some of the guys in Takoradi and it's environments.
I am not in support of that long sentences but crime is a crime and therefore must be treated as such. At these tender ages look at what they're doing ; 10 - 20yrs from now...just imagine...

Justice system in Ghana is corrupt. Police force also is corrupt. Too much injustice is normal system in Ghana. lt started from CPP regime to present government. Justice system in Ghana does not want change; and the judges will continue with this outrageous behavior. Those who have misused public funds are roaming in Accra and some of them also are jailed for less 10yrs. This is very pathetic system functioning in Ghana justice system; and no attorney general will ever take action against bias judges.

The prison sentence is too much in Ghana. Did the judges judge according to the constitution sentence or what ever comes to their mind. Some even judge with anger which is too bad. The prison is too hot n small for human beings to stay. One room shouldn't contain more than three people. If government can't provide good facilities. They shouldn't send people . Human rights should check all the cases. We need to have agencies to look into sentences. Human is not animal. Prison is not end to life
