Meet The Akizuki! Tier 7 Japanese Destroyer (World of Warships Legends Xbox One X) 4k 

Must have nerfed the crap out of it. No speed, no guns, crap torps and a jinx to my teammates. Every match is over in less than 5min. Loved this ship on PC.

Well they are all gunboats in their own Japanese way but they're definitely all more gunboaty than the mainline

@@lordredlead2336 Actually they aren't. The tier 5 and 6 have slower turret traverse, slower reloads and are missing a gun compared to the original line. They're alternate torp boats and always have been except they're worse torp boats.

To be fair WG has never called them gunboats.

@@nuke2099 idk what cammander ur using lmao but the tier 5 and 6 have better reloads 8 and 5 the main line has a constant 10 seconds to 8 in tier 7 and the turret traverse gets way better starting tier 6 so idk what u are smoking or what cammander u use that gives u this results and this is without cammanders

@@lordredlead2336 Um the Fubuki has one more gun (and torp launcher) than the Hatsu and a faster reload and turret traverse along with better gun angles. And the tier 6 on the new line is also missing a gun with worse turret traverse and reload and missing a torp launcher compared to the Akasuki. I'm using the same commander for both (Tanaka) because both lines are torp boats apart from the Akazuki.

@Cipheiz Yes. It's already too late so you might as well get as much as you can out of that match because it will most likely end in a loss.

@Cipheiz Yeah, there are certain spawns that are hard to play (the eastern side of Land of Fire, for example), but abandoning your flank is far worse. It gives the enemy a free capture point/leaves your base vulnerable, as well as exposing yourself to crossfires. Unfortunately, many randoms aren't smart enough to comprehend this and get themselves killed by doing something stupid over and over and over again. You will also see some people get greedy by trying to farm a bit of extra damage and throw the game as a result. As for concealment, its really only necessary for your destroyers. Battleships are all about angling thier armor, and cruisers need good positioning.

@Cipheiz Yeah I once had a guy in a Wichita (I was in a Yudachi) spamming the "I Need Support" command at me when we spawned on the NE flank of Sleeping Giant in Domination. Unfortunately, literally the ENTIRE team was dogpiling in that one area, so I started heading to B to at least try and get more map coverage when the Wichita D-Bag gets angry when he sees what I'm doing and starts shooting me. Unfortunately for him, he gave his location away and the enemy team (which was mostly battleships) opened up on him almost immediately and he was dead within seconds. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard. We lost within 5 minutes (with me being the last ship alive, naturally), but watching that stupid asshat getting shat on was very satisfying.

That’s a waste of an inspiration, 5% of a 3 sec reload is so minuscule

If reload is 3 seconds that drops to 2.85 seconds. If you instead use Sims instead of Mordoff you get an extra 2200 or so hit points.

And of course double concealment for inspirations

@@SpartanElite43 thanks, that helps. However, before WG used this camo rework, it felt somewhat easier to deal with buying legendary skins directly from the store instead of doing it yourself through paint. Just saying...

@Cipheiz I also bought the Ognevoi with "Lazarus" premium skin, plus all 3 commanders and a few odds and ends. I was also buying as much camo skins as my tabs would allow...

@Cipheiz the Halloween event gave free 16 point commanders at full legendary skills and only for that event, with everyone on a level plain field, besides the ships and commanders used, not sure how anyone was at a disadvantage other than not being able to play enough. I'll admit, the grind was tough, but if it meant I can get a free destroyer with wicked statistics, I'm all for it.

@Cipheiz I understand.... I've been out-spotted myself many times and I've out-spotted them too, on occasion. I only have 13 point destroyer commander at 1 legendary skill (soon to be lv. 2 legendary) and I'm trying to upgrade my polish destroyer captain "Jersey". However my main focus is on Japanese cruiser captains and later on Japanese destroyer captains. I've been short on some camo skins, I'm in desperate need of paint. Thanks to spartan, I can start looking into more paint.

No need for faster reload

This is just me, but if I had the option to get to the Gascone, I would buy the Alabama instead. The Atlanta is a decent cruiser you just have to be really careful in it.

You heard him mention the best he got was 4 fires with several hundred hits. I've started more fires without trying. HE spam is annoying but part of the game. That's why I take perks and modules that help stop fires.

I also like AP, but I couldn't call myself elite in any part of this game. I do ok with AP in DDs, many cruisers think they are safe broadside on after torpedoes are gone.

I love British CLs. They are just overgrown DDs. That ripple fire torpedo stuff is awesome. And sometimes not having to worry about what ammo you have loaded can make it easy.

I have used that perk on this ship in many battles it does not help this ship. It is not worth it

It stacks up. Your dishing out that damage with less shatters and more hits. If you actually spec'd for reload of the main guns it well than makes up for it.

@@simpinainteasy1916 It honestly does not stop the shatters trust me I tried it. It still shatters just as much you are not getting extra penetration using the perk. I am not the only person to say this either. There are players that are much better than I that have come to the same conclusion.

That's a toughy but I would probably go with French for their Utility since they can fire HE when needed.

The British tend to have good HE, especially in the BBs. The CAs are all AP cruisers. The Germans have decent armor and are meant specifically for brawling in their BB line.

American DDs are good gunboats, american CLs, CAs, and BBs have good AP. Japanese have good torps and HE all around. Britain DDs have a lot of smokes, British CLs and DDs have tube by tube and CLs have good AP, british BBs have good HE. Germany DDs have a lot of health, German CAs have good HE and Armor and torpedoes, German BB are good brawlers with good secondaries.

Well they explained it in the past notes that these are still Japanese they still use torpedoes but they can use their guns unlike the main line to me these are definitely better to the main line because instead of instantly dying in a knife fight you actually have a fighting chance so I love this alternative line best way to describe it is a very balanced line able to use torques and guns effectively

Outside of the mutsuki the main guns on the torp line are actually quite good people just don't use them enough. For me it's the traverse speed and firing angles that are lacking. The torp boats are far better in that regard.

Then again maybe I'm just used to the torp boats guns by now.

I know the feeling it hurts to see any American BB shooting HE at anything that isn't a DD and personally I rarely load HE for DDs but at least i can understand the decision making.

@@Braindamagedpotato akizuki dumpsters every dd on it's tier in 1vs1 fights due to high hp and the best dpm of all dd's combined with good consealment it's very difficult to fight this dd also don't forget the torp reload which can catch the enemy dd's off guard

@@IDontKnow-jg1yb torps are alnost useless in dd 1v1 , sure if you are stupid you will get devestating striked , concealment is also useless once you fire your guns . Le fantastique can pop its reload booster so the dps goes up depending on your commander and inspirations Health is only good if you get hit a lot , and the Fletcher if used properly , it can avoid any incoming shells and make it hard for the enemy to dodge those 2.2 sec salvos
