As a constituent, I'm all for doubling science funding, but I want to hear about outcomes. How will finding this out improve healthcare and technology? How will extracting space minerals rapidly evolve our understanding of nuclear energy security? What I want us to avoid is "fascination syndrome". Yeah, cool, aliens, but now what? This is a great next step, but we must never avoid what we, as mammals, will get from science funding. Double the funding. Double the intention towards outcomes.

Hate saying this as would love to be alive if they confirm life outside of our own planet. This needs more observation & data from JWST & far to early to say these things as other scientists have come up with reasons that explain this without life being present. Definitely something to keep a eye on 50/50 is a bit optimistic though but JWST is opening up alot of discovery & thank the American tax payers for JWST
