On September 15, 2022, the Costa Mesa Republican Assembly hosted its third meeting to give members an opportunity to meet and question local candidates running in the 2022 midterm elections. Eleven candidates presented and included political races for U.S. Congress, Costa Mesa City Council, Mesa Water District, OC Water District, Costa Mesa Sanitary District and Newport-Mesa School Board.
