This was SO inspiring!! I may have mentioned this in another video, but I am a single mom and my two boys, ages 11 & 14 at the time, came with me to live in Ajijic, Jalisco for a few months back in 2021. We lived on beautiful Lago de Chapala. We are from Indiana, and I resonate with your story so much being from MI and the 'feels' you got walking out of the Guadalajara airport and eating a Mexican taco, seeing all the people calm and the kids playing freely, the horseback riders. Hearing you talk about it brings back all the nostalgia. It is my goal in the future to return for good, maybe I can meet a Mexican man too 😅❤
Mexican mexican or just a mexican?. I don't have a problem with 2 boys, but we may have to look for the girl 🙂 ....and Kristen... I won't let you "Dawn"
As a Mexican who married a Swede/German and moved to Sweden, all I can say is that as long as you're happy, I'm glad for you. One thing... I wouldn't recommend to build your house in a property that's not on your and your husband's name (which I don't know if that's the case, but since you said it's a "family home", I assume it belongs to his parents). Buy half of the property or all of it, but never invest if it's on someone else's name. You might not have problems right now with the owners, but you never know about "other" relatives. Think about your kids' future and how would that affect them. Lots of love for y'all! 🥰
Man!!! To hear an American describe how she felt the first time she stepped foot in Mexico, gives me goosebumps. That is the same feeling I have when I visit my homelamd
Beautiful family!...Your kids will grow up in a much cleaner environment and will appreciate everything so much more...When they grow up they won't need alcohol or drugs to have fun...will know the value of "Family"...and what is better they will be bilingual, and will understand both cultures way better than most...certainly an advantage for the coming years! Congrats!...
I am not even quite sure how I can across your channel, but I am in love with just all of it. I love that you regularly talk about your life and your family’s life being all part of what God planned for you. I love that you’re a woman of faith. I also sincerely appreciate how honest you are and how real your content is. Nothing looks or sounds staged, but rather just a love filled multi-cultural family making it work while being lead by God. God bless and continue to keep you and your family well, happy, and free💜
Oh! And also thank you for sharing your husband's immigration story. So interesting, and complicated, and scary for those who have to go through that especially when he was just a toddler when he came to US - that's all he knew!! I can't even imagine the anxiety of not knowing if you can return to the only place you know as home. But you are right, God paves the way and brings 'blessings in crushings' and I will always keep reminding myself that because of you now so thank you! Tell your husband I am so proud of him and glad he is with his family in MX without risk of being kicked out of his home!! BLESSiNG IN THE CRUSHING - Mexico is home, and you never would have taken the chance otherwise ❤
Will people always focus on the time spent growing up in USA and being unfamiliar when returning to Mexico, BUT, people NEVER talk about the years spent in Mexico then immigrating to USA, Do they ever say, "will I don't know the USA, I've always lived in Mexico since small, so I don't need to be in USA". 😂
Awesome story! My wife came from Veracruz when she was 20 on vacation...32 years later we are still married, have 3 sons, and gave a home in Puebla where we will retire. I was scared to death when she went to CD Juarez, but all went well, she is now a Citizen of both US and MX. Looking forward to more of your blogs!
I still remember my childhood when I was a kid living in México eating beans with queso and chips or some salsa so many nice moments that I will never forget forget about my México 🇲🇽
When I got deported I hated being here in 🇲🇽. But after time man! I was able to feel see and experience things and do things and now I’m free. I was able to compare and I love it now. No more of that states life. Thanks 🇺🇸 you did me a free favor. Best thing it did for me ever.
Los chiquilines seven bien felizes comiendo sus tostaditas de frijol con queso se me antojo son una familia muy bonita entodos los sentidos de la palabra 👍
I wasn't able to go back to Mexico cuz of school and work, but this September I finally decided to pay a visit after 13 years; and now I'm just counting the days for me to go back sometime in 2024. You have a beautiful family btw...
@@rogerguerra4576don’t believe everything you see or hear. It’s funny because you watch the news in the US and all you see is violence but then you watch the news in Mexico about America and all you see is school shootings! They don’t want you to know the truth saludos y bendiciones!
I don’t know how I got here, but after listening for a minute I am so happy that happened to me. I am Mexican living in Texas for about 16 years now. Lately I feel like I have to come back home. Listening to you I think is going to be the best decision I could make. Thank you so much! Love you video. New subscriber.❤
I'm Mexican living in the USA(NYC) for 32 years married with a USA citizen, I went through the same with my emigration status but the difference was that they gave me my visa to comeback to the Estates legally. But I miss Mexico even though i have everything I need here , but my family is in Mexico my tradition, everything. You are blessed God is always with his children (Jeremiah 29:11 )said that God has the best plans for us. 🙏🏻 I love your videos everything. They are so peaceful. God bless you guys.🙌
Wow i love ur story… i will retire in 6 yrs and bought land in yucatan ( i am Puerto Rican) and the first time i went to Mexico, (cancun) over 15 yrs ago, i fell in love with the ppl and tranquility i experienced.. i married a mexican (was not expecting to meet and marry one many yrs later) and i visited several places in Mexico and wherever i went i was treated very well-- and i have been to the family rancho etc--i am hoping that one day my future grand children will experience and fall in love mexico the way I have when they visit me… thanks for sharing!
I can’t believe Abby is almost 15!!! I miss you guys! It’s so awesome hearing this story while also living through it vicariously hearing it from the family.
Hola from Ecuador. I appreciate you sharing your life experiences in Mexico. Beautiful family. We moved here to Ecuador 7 years ago from Texas. And we love it here. Our favorites about living here are the climate and the Ecuadorian people. They are such loving and caring. A lot of what you shared is similar here. Best wishes always.
Hello from Oregon, every time I watch your videos bring back memories from my old town in Michoacan You have a beautiful family and I like to see your little ones playing and talking all the time ❤
I love Mexico. My dad is from a town south of Puerto Vallarta along the coast. We used to visit family in the 80's and 90's. It's been a long time since I been there but I remember all of the good memories and how much we enjoyed being there with family. My favorite things in Mexico are the food, the beach, and the slow pace of life. Most importantly the people. So warm and inviting always going the extra mile to make you feel at home. Saludos❤
i am so glad i found your channel!! i’m in an intercultural relationship and i hope to move to his home country one day but just waiting on the Lord. your testimony about God doing all of this for you! i still have hope! todavía tengo esperanza! ❤️
There are many second or third generation Mexicans who return to Mexico. Probability is a short school time but it is very effective, all children finish basic, secondary or high school without a diploma, but with a certified document, you have to pass the exams for one grade to move on to the other, and the university is very affordable . And there are universities very well positioned internationally. In the future they can do business having both nationalities and with a university degree they can return to the United States, if they wish, and revalidate their studies there.
I loved when we went to visit my husband's family rancho in Madero Durango. Loved the whole vibe and how we walked everywhere in the Pueblo ❤️ just beautiful!
Stumbled into your blogs , very interesting & inspiring, my dad , may he rest in peace, grew up in Coahuila & have tons of family all over Mexico, durango, Tamaulipas, Nuevo León & Oaxaca & I’m blessed to visit all these places & one thing I noticed ALOT & I mean a lot of people are moving back to Mexico, I have black & European friends moving to Mexico cus it’s so chill & calm & the weather is a difference maker , visited durango where my mom grew up recently & making plans to build a house there , I’m at peace every time when I visit my parents homes , cheers from Chicago 🥶, looking forward to more content, happy new year & god bless
Love your story. I feel the same about Mexico. I lived there in 2020. The feeling is magical. I have been blessed to live in Italy now. We moved here 4 months ago. I'm a dual citizen. My Mom and Dad moved here from the states 7 years ago. Like you, it was a move from God in our life. Now my son and his son are considering moving here now. It's a way of living in Mexico as you said, when you first arrived. There is such joy in that country. Just like here. I must say though, I miss Mexico. We we're in a small pueblo near Leon. I have family there as well. I miss the people and the food. Blessing from a brand new subscriber. You and your family are beautiful 😍. I love the ranch. 🥰
I just happened upon your videos and have been watching all of them. My husband and I go to Mexico to vacation at least 2-3 times a year and we fell in love with the country and people. We are seriously contemplating selling our home and move there. I speak Spanish fluently which is a long story but he can learn. You and your beautiful family have inspired me and keep those videos coming. ❤️🇲🇽
I said that before, but I really enjoy your videos and thanks for sharing your story. Your family is adorable and I love watching what you do or what you eat. Don’t you miss any American food? I always wait for a new video. Saludos desde Mérida , Yucatán. Les deseo lo mejor para 2024, mucho amor y muchas bendiciones. ❤
Reminds me of my childhood, going to Mexico with my parents, to shop around or visit my grandparents. Your little girls running around remind me of me, being all happy and free. I loved going down the street to the tienda, with my oldest brother to buy snacks, ice cream and glass cokes. You are right about the smell of Mexico. I haven't been there in years, yet there are certain scents that trigger my memories of being there as a kid. Thanks for the memories, and your videos with your family are super cute.
Love the family, it is great to hear that you have fallen in love with México. It is very beautiful to walk around the pueblos without having to worry. It is a proper place for kids to enjoy their youth.
YOU ARE BLESSED!! Take care. You’re a brave woman. I was born in Mexico but haven’t been there in 36 years and thanks to the news about all the crime in Mexico IM TERRIFIED OF GOING. May God bless you and keep you and your family safe
I am so loving your channel 🫶 your story is amazing! I'm glad your Family is together and you are all living a Happy life in Mexico ❤ I also love seeing how much you and your kiddos love animals 🫶🌻 so beautiful! God bless.
I came across your videos and I love em. I have a plan to move to Mexico and everyone tells me that I am crazy. But watching your videos motivate me even more. I really hope your channel grows more. Saludos de California 🫶🏽
You can do it ! My family was not happy about the move to Mexico, and it did take a lot of adjusting and learning but a lot of praying and hard work and here we are :) Thank you for watching and I hope you have a blessed new year.
The best years of my life growing up were in Mexico, I take my kids many times during the year to visit different states and cities in Mexico, we also moved to mexico and they attended mexican schools, so, yes, its a very happy place, the best years of my kids school were in mexico.
Is life changing. I was born in NY (Bronx). When my mom decided to move to Puerto Rico when she split with my dad. Our life change, it was hard but now we have our own house, we have animals. What i mean is in the USA today u cant have kids outside long, the city are dangerous, the governments are hard on people and in the campo your isolated from all that 💩. The campo is healthier to raised children. They dont get sick as much as the cities etc. You feel safer in the Rancho, campo. A better life for your family.
God bless you and your family, I’m thinking about immigrating and studying Mexican law as a native born Californian that loves the country. I would definitely not raise my kids in America that’s for sure. Their is only one Mexico 🇲🇽
Beautiful family! Just found your channel a few days ago. Thanks for sharing your backstory. We retired and moved to Mexico 6 years ago. We live in San Antonio Tlayacapan in Jalisco, south of Guadalajara.
Gracias Familia...

What a lovely, albeit bittersweet Bio. Gracias for sharing. I'm not surprised with the transition. My youngest only spoke Español & sadly had more trouble than my older children. Bless you all for trying this simple life in Mx. P.s., love love your "pelirojo" hair, lol. Paz be with us all 🙏. Abrazos! "Isa"
Okay after you mentioned how your mom is coming to Mexico for your daughters 15 and she is the Madrina for the dress and yall are shopping for it in Guadalajara I am immediately subscribing. Love your Vlogs new fan. I live in Sacramenro, CA. My mom and mother in law live in Torreon , Coahuila and my dad is from San Juan De Los Lagos. And I must say life in Mexico is so stress free. Wish I could live I. Mexico. Algun dua lo hare.😊
I can’t wait until I move out to my parents hometown. We have a new house. I’m so happy for you and your family!! Great job Mom. Blessings to you and yours family. I lived all my life in Chicago ill.
Annabelle is like a mini copy Abby😁They are so adorable. One thing I always wonder whenever you guys are having tacos is how spicy are the salsas? I see everyone drowns their tacos in it, even the little ones. I do the same but my spice tolerance is pretty high lol. I guess you can tell they are Mexican by how much they love salsa.😅 Always looking forward to your videos! Please take care and God bless you and your beautiful family!🙏
That blob looks like so much fun! I want to get one for my nephews. Where are Did you buy it? Will you ask your kids if they want to move back to the USA in a video. I'd love to see their answers. New subscriber😊
Aww Felicidades. Just happened to come across your video I already LOVE it. We have been waiting for my husbands to get approved for about 4 years now due to COVID it's taking forever. My biggest fear is that they will send him back he's been here for 24 years. Good is God.
You and your family are living my dream life. My husband is from Monterrey Nuevo Leon. It is our dream to retire in Mexico. We love your family and your campo lifestyle. Oh, and yes, we are so invested in Abby's quince planning. Today is Saturday, July 27th. I'm patiently waiting for you to upload her Quinceanera video. I skipped the shorts because I didn't want to ruin the surprise of seeing her in her dress for the first time. I love how authentic and humble your family is. God bless you and your family always.
I loved your beautiful video of your trip to buy your daughter's dress for her quincinera. Beautiful sights & food. Also the video of Penelopes graduation. Such beautiful country your in! Loved it all! So refreshing to see! Im going to keep on watching. Thank you! 😊❤
Thank you for the video. You just brought back old memories of when I would go to Mexico to visit my grandparents 🥹. They passed away, so I haven't been there since
My parents had a small country store in the US and our home was attached. My great aunt had a small neighborhood grocery store back in the 50’s & 60’s and it was in a room in the front of her house. It used to be fairly common for small businesses to be attached to your house.
Hello Dear, I am new to your channel. This is actually the 3rd video I watched, which was perfect, you doing a recap of life in Mexico. Very motivating, I may say. I love your attitude and appreciation towards Mexico, it’s people and overall culture! Greetings and Blessings your way…
Your kids seem to be growing absolutely free, healthy and happy. You look so happy too! I’m curious about your husband, is he going to work on welding in Mexico as in the US?
Thank you so much for sharing your story on how you ended up in Mexico. I am originally from San Luis Potosí. I migrated to the US at age 17 and was the year of 1977. Reason for migrating to the US as it is for everyone that comes to this country illegally as I did, and that is, looking for better opportunities. Me being being part city boy and part farm/ranch boy then in SLP, transitioning to to the US was just another experience in life. I lost my mother at age five so living with my father in the village we lived in, life harsh and so, when I became older I realized that was not the life I needed to live and moved in with my maternal grandmother in San Luis city before transitioning to the US. Life in the US (California) had been very fair. During the Reagan administration I got my residency and then some time after that got my citizenship. I married my wife US born of Mexican parents in 1988 but convincing her to move to live in Mexico is not something that she would go for. Though she was born and raised in San Diego and spent countless trips to Tijuana and Baja with parents as my mother in law is from Baja, she won’t go for it. You are a very brave woman and mother of your 4 children and you are the rock of the your marriage. Transitioning to Mexico with no life experience of living there before must’ve been hard but looks like you quickly adjusted. You live in a state where the elevation is just perfect for good weather. I clearly remember the first time I went back to Mexico after I got my green card, I landed at the GDJ airport. It fell so good that I even cried of joy as stepped into my Mexican soil!!! I forgot to mention that I was a shepherd in my village, so, taking care of animals is something that you fall in love with. Keep up the good work and keep up the faith. In my view your life after your got married has been faith in action. Especially when you traveled with your baby after your husband was denied entry to the US. Thus us how the Bible describes faith in Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

I’m not remembering my comment, but meaning it’s so important to have legal immigration. I am happy this all worked out for your family, and you took the proper steps.
