@@meetthegaffer Thank you. For me the 600c Pro are the biggest lights I have and I just bought the spotlight right before the Max version came out. Glad to know I don't have to buy another one!

Pro tip: a certain down-under vlogger has said that the Nanlite projection mount also works well with the LS600c. My hunch is that the spotlight max is probably a better match for the 600c, but will of course be larger, along with the barrels.

Probably best to wait until the dust clears before getting too wound up about specs that are not yet posted.

@@meetthegaffer Luke, I seriously don't want to hate Aputure, I use them all the time. It's the over-the-top/hype marketing they do that turns me off. If all these players can start more or less respecting each other and stop being extra flamboyant then in the end we'll have much better products (considering the sheer marketing money that can be put into R&D and service, or even designing a better-looking logo.) Maybe I'm too old.

What are the equivalent nanlux products? And do they also have a spot Mount system?

@@Amitn94 a leko attachment? Not sure for that model but for the others they do. Aputure still using RGBWW leds way old tech. Makes no difference. no serious production would trust either brand. But Aputure just steals ideas from other manufactures then you have to hear about how brilliant they are. Keep simping

IA member for 5 years and not once have I seen an aputure light come through our cinelease or mbs or even on an out of town gaffers truck out east. seen them on sub 2 million shows for lifetime. Also why is a bad to have another guy in a condor? its another guy getting to work. Most likely if they have condor money they will have money for an lrx rig. and why do they keep insisting on pushing these cob lights? been on 2 shows where orbiters where used and everyone hated them. The barrel attachments take up too much space and are easily damaged if not babied.

Change is uncomfortable and respect takes time, but it’s unwise to dismiss the new kid too hastily. COBs may not be showing up on your jobs, but they are changing the industry whether you choose to work with them or not. We used to work with heavy, more analog ballasts for HMI’s, then square wave ballasts came out and we had to be more careful. A lot about being an electric today is quite different from even 10 years ago, never mind 35 years ago when I joined the IA. If you see issues with what companies are promoting, provide constructive feedback. There are a lot of serious people working on measures that will make sets safer; remote heads are coming. Become a remote head operator and reuse your hammock in the back yard 😀.
