I was actually surprised at how chill they were, it was like Hi Chris. I mean perhaps they were trying to be curious but still the man is way more interesting than props.
He missed the ball as a fan because it was obvious Christopher Lloyd wanted to hold the remote and the guy wouldn’t take it out the glass case and rushed them to move on.
Something tells me they’ve already met Christopher a dozen times over the years, so they might not be as starry-eyed this time as they would’ve been on the first and second time meeting him.
I'm actually surprised they didn't let him talk about the props. What's the point of bringing out there to just look at them? He could have given them some back story that they didn't know before. Instead it was like, look at this and look at this.
Christopher's reaction to his Doc Brown mannequin was hilarious...if he would've only whispered "Great Scot!!!" while looking at it, I would've lost it.
Yeah I can think of a few things. Buying a DeLorean time machine and snorting coke off the time circuit display, then banging a hooker in the passenger seat would probably complete my life.
I know, seems like this was just part of something else. it cut too short and had Mr Lloyd in it, so there is a proper thing somewhere. This is a big youtube advert, methinx.
@@lonewretch This is just a clip from episode 2 of Expedition Back To The Future. It was a 4 part show on Discovery+ and each episode was 40 minutes long. I hope this helps.
Happy to see this collection of actual props being preserved from this classic movie trilogy. It was awesome for Christopher Lloyd see it again to bring back memories.
I love everything about this. A father and son team working together to collect some of the most iconic movie memorabilia and Christopher Lloyd visiting this bad ass collection. Thats great!
That's likely what the recovered truck was partially used for. Some horrible homicide before it was burned out and ditched. That truck alone holds the secrets to a Stephen King novel.
Fun fact: in another documentary michael j fox say that he really hated that car (dolorean) because of many things like the sharp metal box that jam his knuckles and ripped his hands up
I think he is probably proud to have been apart of something that will stand the test of time forever and that he will be remembered for. May he be bored or somewhat tired of it though? Probably but it’s been almost 40 years and that doesn’t mean he hates BTTF.
I got to go and visit this collection the other day and I gotta say, it was better than going to Disney world for the first time! This collection is so amazing. Bill and Patrick are the NICEST guys you will ever meet. They love seeing people enjoy their collection as much as I loved seeing it. My 6 yr old son was just beside himself the entire time. I will definately be going back there to see this collection again, it will never get old to me.
I've visited Bill last year, having known about the collection thanks to a documentary... it is phenomenal and you really can see how much Bill is proud of it. Nonetheless they donate every money they make with it to Michael J. Fox Foundation! Really, great collection and great people, I am glad I've had the occasion to meet them!
We were at Universal Studios in Orlando 2019 and i was not connecting BttF with Universal Studios to the Day. Then i heard the Iconic Theme Melody while my Wife was at the Restroom. I had to go there no matter what and asked where the BttF Themepark is.. and the lovely Restroom-Lady told me it was over his 30 Years Lifespan and dismantled and changed to Simpsons last Year but they didnt change the Background Music Tape since then :( That was a "once in a Lifetime" Opportunity for me GONE Forever.. missed so close
That’s awesome dude! I’m 15 back to the future has been my favorite movie since I was 7, I’ve probably spent over 3k on my collection, my family calls me crazy for spending my money on that but 🤷♂️ it’s what makes me happy, I wish I could find more people obsessed with the movie like I am 🙌 Great Collection 🙌
If the bits & quips were off the cuff, then im thoroughly impressed how freaking hilarious & witty he is still. I hope I function even half as well when I'm that age. Also I feel like he wanted to leave with that remote control, if the dude didn't pay insane amounts for it.
I absolutely love these guys! It's so cool to see a father and son so passionate about the same hobby, and to take it to the level that these two have is just astounding!
My only problem with this is that it seemed way too scripted and Christopher Lloyd was portrayed kind of like a lost, senile old man rather than a legendary actor. They tried to make him the comic relief and it just seemed very fake. Too much scripted acting ruined it for me.
Wow! To see some of the artifacts from the Back to the future movies, and having the pleasure of having " Doc Brown Emmet" Christopher Lloyd, who used or was in the scene with some of the artifacts, the only items missing, is the BMW 635, that Marty*a parents have at the end of the sequel to the 1st movie, and the train, from the 3rd movie.
I could watch this all day long. Now that is what you call dedication. Well done to those guys for saving a true piece of movie history. Hats off to you gentleman. 👏
Wow! Now you know it’s amazing when Chris Lloyd is blow away by everything. Kinda messes with my head that the main actors like Chris and Michael don’t own anything from the movie. I know I’d be like I’m taking this for myself as a memento of my roll in the movie. This guy must have not slept and was on eBay like 24/7. I’d love to have a tour through that collection.
Them 3 movies are absolute masterpieces!! I don't blame them guys for buying all that stuff it's cool af lol 👌🏻... If your rich and can afford to do crazy stuff why not 😂 😂 😂
Dear Discovery, let's be clear, I love you! But please.... The music is killing the experience here! Let us savour the moment as if floating downstream for a second. This music made it less a 'once in a lifetime opportunity with the great man' and more like... just another Storage Wars episode. Perhaps this is not how the actual episode's audio went out? But how many different audio clips were used here.. Really jarring especially as none of the music seemed Retro-esque (made up word). Best wishes from the armoury. 🌞⚒️🇬🇧
How awesome to have this collection but, to have Christopher right there must have been over the top. These guys could make some serious money if they were to open this to the public. I'd definitely travel there.
In one of my apartments, there was a metal plate in the kitchen where the electrical plugs that was prominently visible are and i stenciled on it 1.21 Gigawatts LOL. Did you know that in French, it's 2.21 Gigawatts? Lost in translation ⚡
I'm really confused as how this is on Discovery UK youtube channel, clearly shot in the US for a US audience, yet I have never seen or even heard of this show in the US.
Being a child of the 80's as well still owning the VHS / Bluray copies. This brought so many years of happiness right back ...And seeing Christopher just brought tears of joy.
I don’t think that’s gonna happen because I agree with you 10000% percent. My first movie that I ever saw in theaters in 1985 was back to the future and being 5 at the time had no idea what it was about until it came out on VHS and I would watch it over and over again and kept on for years.
If it wasn't for the JK Rowlings , they could own it. They almost got rid of the Train for The Harry Potter Area at Universal but JK Rowlings said NO......
I saw him walking down the street a couple of years ago in NYC, and he was wearing form fitting jeans. He was very tall, and he walked very erect. Doesn’t look like he works out, but he seems to come from sturdy stock. He’s got a few decades left in him yet!
To the other fellas in this video, all this BTTF memorabilia is a big deal; but to Christopher Lloyd, it's just junk from one of his countless projects.
