It will be great if a future version of this laptop include the XG Mobile port from the rog series. It can enable it to run modern games at high frame rates when plugged in, while keeping a slim profile and long battery life on the move.
It's such a shame that the ZenBook does not come with a screen pad. I don't need another number pad. I need to multitask & have faster access to things.
For a second i thought I just found the holly grail of laptops, but sadly it doesn't have thunderbolt :'( Still mind blowing performance though thanks for sharing!
@@rantanplan1911 Asus actually released flow z13 this year during CES, it uses intel and has the thunderbolt you are looking for. (AMD laptop won't have thunderbolt)
@@hanklin4633 Yeah I saw that while looking at the X13 but I actually already have a detachable format (Dell 5290 2-in-1) and preferred the 360 degree flip variant of the 2-in-1's. It's more lappable imo :)
@@rantanplan1911 Got it. Well the external GPU has extra ports, kinda like a docking station if you were to use a thunderbolt. so still not a thunderbolt but acts similar in functionality. Interesting, I thought most ppl would prefer the detachable one, but still are ppl who prefer the flip ones. I prefer AMD and detachable, but unluckly it is spread between 2 machines XD. Also zenbook flip does have intel with thunderbolt already selling (if you not necessary want the eGPU docking).
BE CAREFUL, asus product description isn't accurate. they listed "up to" xx specs and when you press the "buy" the next page the specs are much lower. as of right now, the 2 in 1 section is misleading. even the description here it says 4k oled but that is not an available option . luring consumers.
ASUS made a big mistake with the keyboard layout on the AMD variant of the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED. They should have kept the same keyboard layout as the Zenbook 14 Flip OLED INTEL 13th-gen. The "DEL" key should always be the last key on the far top right corner. The power button should be on the side of the laptop or on top of the keyboard deck where it can be pressed when in tablet mode. And I don't know why they keep some features between the AMD version to the Intel version. For instance, why doesn't the Intel variant have MicroSD Card Readers but the AMD variant has it??? So odd...
When is it launching in India? The problem with all these announcement is that these models are not available now and I hope they don't when alder lake mobile cpu will be around the corner! Nobody wants to buy a laptop when the laptop availability gets old! I would have loved to buy this right away but by the time it will reach India, I am sure it will be a waste. Understand this Asus! You are losing out on customers! There are hundreds of good laptop on Asus global website but the shitty ones are on India's website page! You have a market which you are missing out badly! I am this close to get a HP spectre because of its display ratio. Asus can't even launch a 16:10 OLED display in India. Sad for a company which leads and innovates but not reaching its market.
The battery life is terrible!! I bought this machine on your false advertising stating 16 hours battery life. I was expecting at least 10 hours. Lucky to get 5 hours of battery life. UP5401 it really sucks in the battery department.
Hi lusiana sohaimin, thank you for reaching out to us. For the price, it is best to contact the ASUS officials in your country/region as they are in a better position of providing local information. Kindly visit www.asus.com/entry and choose your location. You'll be able to find contact at the bottom of the page. Thank you
@@teresablanes yeah there is no guarantee in the chip shortage era. but since this is announced in oct, I don't see Q1 2022 is too hard of a stretch. but maybe more news coming in CES
@@denshaSai So apparently there were no real news at CES, but Intel announced the 1265u processor a few days ago, the successor to the 1165g7 that was supposed to be in this. Maybe they were waiting for that, to then ship it with the newer processor. Would be awesome, at least the wait would have a benefit.
