Thanks to Christian, Michel and Bernard for allowing to visit and film their farm operations. It was glad to meet you again after so many years. Your operations looks so professional.
Glad I found your yt-channel. Spend a few years close to fairview on a grainfarm. And actually did visit the lavoie dairy-farm 4 or 5 years ago. Greetz from Germany!!
Greetings from Spain, the fields you have there and the machinery are impressive. I'd pay to drive an x9 hehehe in the meantime I'll have to make do with my w540. a greeting !!!!
I'm curious if this farm will take on some of the new bigger 9RX models that John Deere just introduced? The 9RX830, 770, or 710 for pulling big air seeders? Would like to see their seeding operation.
Right on X9’s are beautiful machines, I’m happy everyone is having better crops this year then last year. We are not far from Guy,AB our family farm is located in whitemud creek (just SW of guy) We are also running 8 of 8250 Case IH combines and 2 grain carts. 👍🏼
@@Northernupshots Absolutely always welcome to come visit , we are just firing up today from the weekend of rain . We will be harvesting in whitemud for the next couple days with straight cut canola 👍🏼
@@brentreid7031 a person has to wonder how much does a farmer really have to farm to make a good living , and after that it is just who have the bigger one
Interesting question. The easy answer is Canada. The other can be the “Peace Country” as that is what they refer to this region in the NW part of the province of Alberta.
I wanted to farm out of high school but my dad strongly suggested I get a university degree. That led me to a long career in the Petrochemical industry with stints in Fort Saskatchewan, Texas and Saudi Arabia.
@@HuckThis1971 the funny thing is that I think there’s some awesome video of my worldly travels…they get maybe 100’s of views. Farming videos: 10’s of thousands of views!
@@Northernupshots I just love watching combines work and other machinery out in the fields. I'll be retiring in 4 years. I would love to help farmers out here.
@@Northernupshots not sure if it was your video or the other guy who put subtitles in because it was all in French. A specific town was mentioned and I looked it up to confirm my thoughts on the region. BTW 190 kms from one end to the other, that's impressive.
@@mbailey12341 so you know we are in Canada and don’t have zip codes? I did hear we have trouble competing with US farmers because they get so many subsidies.
