RTS lite for those who wont to get a quick game in The RTS genre deserves variety and innovation Warcraft 3 with its RPG leanings I am partial to 'Diplomacy is not an option' = Age of empires meets tower defence More RTS is the age I want to live in
you'd first have to unlock the necceary units current standart (or at least often played) core - wasp + blink hunter foundry - mortars + king crab starforge - stingers + airships advanced foundry - snipers advanced starforge - valkyries they however released another balancepatch today, so this deck could be outdated already
It's kind of cool to see this game take off and the open-mindedness of the current RTS community. Back when DoW2 came out, it being a high map control, high combat, high micro RTS, one of the main complaints was a lack of building buildings like SC/DoW1. Come to find out that Battle Aces is developed by David Kim (SC2 lead multiplayer dev) and Relic's RTS guys (Dawn of War / Company of Heroes) after seeing the similarities of Starcraft and Dawn of War 2 in Battle Aces. Nice to see the style working.
This looks like fun! I can hop on this get a couple fun micro battles and go. This reminds of micro battles or the sc2 mod that played on the platform units vs units.
the funny thing about scorpions compared to other units is that they show an attitude in their voicelines they're like "let's just get over this already"
@@lexist7 If you're being specific to just visuals specify so. Ignoring English problems, your comment is just pushing a dislike for a game for what reason? Also BA and SG have equally cartoony graphics, lol. Go check their website and you'll see they want to go in an anime direction.
Not completely wrong but stormgate is a bit more complicated i gotta support it a little cause i want it to be great. But hey this game looks really great and fun.
I am very excited about this game! Fun to watch too. It's like Clash Royal (the great mobile), but for PC, with more dept. I think this is what RTS was needing!
Does anyone else have problem that when I click some unit to be attacked, most of my army attacks another target? As if AI believes its better opportunity to attack enemy base instead of enemy workers, so it prioritizes the base instead of workers (and thus kills less workers in those 4 seconds I got before enemy reacts with his own army). What does "enable focus fire" in options do, because I cant seem to grasp any difference? Thanks in advance, everyone!
@@uThermal2 Thanks for the reply, Thermy, but I tried it both on and off and it seems to not have an effect. It really bugs my micro. But still, its a great game, one I will enjoy watching you play and hopefully I will fix this issue.
you get them at the same time by default, no extra building or tech needed red=matter your primary resource, blue = power you get more matter per second than power
i don't fully agree but considering how there were fewer RTS games over the last decade compared to the early to mid 00´s ... yea then again how much do you want and reinvent RTS games aside from just visuals
