My brother recently got into college to study audiography. He has got assignments that are damn interesting. Now our main job at home is working with different objects to make sounds that you don't expect from that object. We found out that dragging a glass on our dining table makes the exact noise of a flying aeroplane 😂
I remember my school arranged for a trip to Hyderabad and we visited Ramoji film city, there they explained the process and recreated a Sholay scene. It was mind-blowing and was so surreal.
This is impressive,untill now I wasn’t aware that sounds are created separately.Good job and people who should get the recognition more than the so called actors

These people don't get enough recognition ! Foley is such an important aspect for films and yet we don't appreciate these people while watching movies . Super Underrated .
Two artists in movies mostly gets ignored and they are the foley artists and the bgm artists. But if we remove their works from anything overall impact will drop drastically.
What about editors??? We struggle to edit a 15 sec shorts, but the movie editors have to edit the sound, Green Screen etc for a shit Bollywood movie which doesn't pay you much, instead the actors and producers usurp all the money.....

Sound effect is the soul of the movies...I appreciate all responsible for this...great Mogal e Azam or sholay titanic and jurrasic park known for sound effects...there are plenty to quote 👍
So interesting how they made those sounds. These people should be seen also at the end of every film they produce/ made sounds. They are also important as those heroes and heroines. Credits to you sir for making the film more awesome with those sounds.
Foley is like salt in any dish. You cant separate and see it. But once it isn’t there, we all know that it’s missing. It’s time that we give foley it’s right importance and recognition. Great job Brut,
