Dsp is on the out. Apollo is going native with spark and there new interfaces. M1 Mac and beyond r blowing performance out of the park

The FX Send and Receive are the real winner here. But there is competition and that is Universal Audio with a cruise middle up their sleeve and LUNA is free when you own an Apollo and will soon be on Windows also.

So why doesn't it work autonomously? Why are there no apps for iPhone or iPad? And the outputs that the device has are few and far between for me. This can be a problem when you need to do summing on an analog console for mixing. It would be great to have 7-8 independent mixes in stereo that could be sent from the computer to the analog mixer. But alas you have all four mixes. Well, it would be at least five...(((

Is this Interface capable of leading an dolby atmos setup (7.4.1) and handling that speaker load or can be paired with a lower end device? versus spending the big money on the MTRX studio interface

At the moment" MBOX Studio only provides stereo monitoring control but it does have 6 analog outputs so you could output 5.1, or up to 7.1 via the ADAT output. Stay tuned for future feature enhancements in this area. 😉
