I enjoy all of the AQUAHOLIC vids but this one has been exceptional. It’s lovely to see and hear the stories of someone who’s obviously doing well yet still seems so grounded. More of these please.
What a lovely boat he has nick and his engineering background has come in very handy to fix up this American cuddy Chaparrel 28 just how he wants it, 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off gives him lots of time to work on his pride and joy.

Lovely boat - owner sold on it and so am I. Sport boat but with the owner expertise she has been revised updated and sorted out. So now she is refreshed and when she goes out I'll bet she "hums sweetly" along as he tours around his local rivers, sea bays, and ports. It is a great hobby, that he can use his experiences to run her. Great video, with enthusiastic Jessie. Both in his work on a super yacht and his own Lady of the Sea. PS: more of these types of videos please.
I love what he’s done with this boat! Since it’s a similar size to the boat we’re going to buy it’s lovely and useful to see what he’s done with it and the stuff he’s taken from the super yacht he works on. The boat we will be buying has more indoor space (salon, cabin as well as v berth, galley, etc) but the outside is just as important and he has done wonders with it, beautiful.

You can tell he is an engineer… I machined this up.. plus all the little improvements / modifications he has made. Sounds like he has his dream job, lucky man. Excellent. I brought a Chaparral 240 Signature over from US (sight unseen) boy that was a faf with CE marking etc. Made worse as it was a liquidation drive snatch. Had to reinstate manufacturer cert etc. Great 1.85 ex rate at the time so quids in. Fab boats, the Brunswick pocket cruisers ... 🇬🇧

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I relatively recently got into learning about boating and yachts and such and while I don't have one of my own (yet!) I live vicariously through these kinds of videos where I can see the passion other people have for the lifestyle.

What a cracking guy……. clearly a valuable asset to his crew. Great looking sports boat with two of the finest engines in their class 🙂 I’ve lived with one of those straight sixes in a Landcruiser Amazon 80 series, 4.2 litres of beast power…….. I wondered why it had a 24 volt starter and alternator, although it’s ancillaries were 12 volt, then a colleague pointed out that the bus we were stood next to, an Optare, was powered by the same…… 🙂🇬🇧 Great interview as ever Nick, letting the guy speak at his own pace…….. 🥳
