Very interesting and I'm betting he has a few more tales to tell! Sensible people making sensible choices with the water at the centre of their enjoyment! On any budget, just pick your boat, and start living the dream!

She did a good job. Designing something like a yacht is an ocean of choices, each one a massive opportunity to do it wrong. The worn shiny leather can look quite tattered and void of the luxury beauty and this modern matte fabric look does a much better job. Particularly the table is smart new design. Altogether is manages that cozy luxury landscape in the lounge. At first it looked like a brand new boat. Regarding crew, that's also my impression, it's such a tense situation to be responsible for several people full time year round. That's why I think AI autopilot has real potential, real luxury without the logistic and cost problem of full time crew. Also agree in size. Some of the huge boats must be ghost towns, almost embarrassing monuments to overreach. Also if it can't go in cozy marinas and mingle with silly turists, its' also a pyrrhic victory. And Nick, that's how you do it, the primary boat is in the med. In scenic marinas with turist restaurants right by the docks. You got it all wrong :) Keep your small boat in UK, 1/8 fractional ownership of a yacht in the med. Pick a place with dirt cheap flight to maybe.

Highlight for me is that despite being far more financially secure than I will ever be, they seem a genuinely nice couple, no heirs or graces, humble, but just have a love for boats. Good on them.

Love these meet the owners vids and again the owners love boating and love their boat/s and are down to earth genuine people. I always thought that people who owned these types of boats were city trader/wide boy types who just liked to show off... but none of your owners have been anything like that. Maybe that says more about me than about yacht owners 🛥

I had a dream last night about boating. I was driving a boat that James (Virtual Broker) had lent me. I was having to drive it from the shore, via camera. Drone shots. None of the cameras gave a great view, all very strange angles. So along a river I was driving a boat I couldn't really see, I hit a pirate ship and that bounced me into a whirlpool for a while. James was very disappointed with me. I complained the camera angles weren't very good and I couldn't see, and he quite dismissively said they'd all been checked recently and I needed some training that afternoon. I'm not joking, that dream happened.

Well now, bigger is not always better. I’m certain that I do not ever want a boat that needs a skipper and crew even if I can afford it. These guys have worked out a system that keeps them out of trouble which is absolutely brilliant. I have learned so much from your channeling Nick. I really like these meet the owner episodes.

Lovely boat, interview and people, Nick, very interesting meet the owner, you do a cracking job. I don’t know if it’s considered crass but I always need to know what things cost, refurb cost, purchase price , mooring etc, for me it helps tie everything in and gives a guide as to whether it’s an appropriate choice or option for me. Is that something you’d be comfortable incorporating in your videos,,please ? I know you do sometimes , what Setag charge for a helm refurb or new leather on the handrails really would interest me, and costs are such a big part of boat ownership, I think these days more and more people are going down this refurb route. Having guest they were property developers early on,,, it was good to hear them confirm that towards the end .. I love your channel Nick,, but I dont feel this is the best one yet , as people are saying .. This boat is a property on water .. Buy cheap and tired and then renovate, often using one company and then sell on for a profit... Yes they are a lovely couple, but their passion seems to be profit not true boating enjoyment... Just an opinion... and a gut feeling

A lady with flare, so she went to Seatag and sorted out a generic styled boat into a boat with flare. Customized to their standards making the most of the boats option for accommodations.

If I may ask, would you advise someone to purchase a new yatch or rather purchase an old one and revamp it?? All your suggestions would be very much appreciated.
