I watched a friendly parseval decimate a enemy Yamato with his bombers yesterday.. he got a kraken and top of the leaderboard... Later a parseval wrecked my Iowa just the same.. idk what to say but I do have a newfound hatred for CVs

Eh cruisers are ok, they literally have to be brain ded to get hit by the AP bombers becuase they take so long to reach the target. dds and cruisers have more then enought time to get outta they way majority of the time
If your carrier automatically launches its fighters then you can't launch yours until the fighters have fully launched. At 16:30 the planes automatically launch so you can't launch your torp bombers. It makes sense in reality but is annoying in a gameplay point of view.

So by the logic of what people are saying is that your upset that a CV can pop you for 20k but your ok with your surface ships being able to dev strike another ship. In other words you want them to not be able to touch you at all and for your AA to stop them from being able to do anything. The counter to CVS is one evasive maneuvers and two team work AKA stacking AA. CVS just point out the problem with the majority of players and that is the lack of team work. If you wanna wreck CVs than I would suggest division play as being your main thing and bring one or two of your division mates with AA builds. That's another thing nobody seems to want to change there builds to counter CVs.
One of the real strengths of the KMS CVS is how quickly the torp sight shrinks, it lets you strike super quick, and the torp speed makes it super easy to basically one shot DDs.
Next campaign with be the T7 Enterprise, which has AP bombs. Also for bureau probably will add Midway as the Legendary ship. I also saw lots of Legendary Montana's in games today, AI and Standard, so that ship is coming to the bureau at some point.
Just a tip spartan, use secondary mods on mod 1 and 2, and hipper inspiration, german cvs secondaries are accurate as hell and they can deal with dds by themselves.
Love how they add German Carriers which I don't even think were built in time during the war, but don't add ark royal etc in from the British which were involved
Most of the people saying that ap bombs are bad probably only have the first german cv which if you look at the stats the torps are SOO much better than the bombs and easier to use
Even so those AP bombs are downright nasty. I played it a bit yesterday - CV play really isn't for me - and even at tier III the AP bombs are straight up evil. Yes, harder to use, but a few runs against bots to get my eye in and I was handing out pain with them. Merciless difficult to dodge, if you're willing to give up a bit of pen for a sure hit, and a target that isn't dodging is absolutely getting penetrated because you can get away with releasing higher up for more pen.

Biggest tips are aa is strongest on the side, bombers should never approach from the side. Manover around the aa bubble and attack head on from the back. Also invest in heavily in plane speed. PLAN YOUR ESCAPE, don't drop munitions then leave your planes to fly back over enemy ships. You will waste prescious planes. With bomber lead you reticle so you drop the moment you go green and lined up.
Meh on the t3 a citadel hit on a cruiser is like 3k and on a bb is like 4K(which is super rare anyways) so no, they’re kinda really bad imo I get much more damage with their torps which they don’t even specialize in.
I feel like cvs are like planes and helis on battlefield games, people cry about how strong they are but only 1% of the player base can actually put them to good use and use them effectively
Don't get me wrong, I really like the Bf110 models, but kinda wishing they make a separate aircraft model for the dive bombers, like maybe Ju87? Same with Lex... wish the torp bombers were Avengers...
There’s literally no point of playing any other class of ship. Especially battleships, they have no chance of dodging these bombs. Half of the battleships as it is are too inaccurate to hit anything, and even what they’re supposed to pray on, that being cruisers are a lot of times more predators than prey when you have ridiculous ships like the Atlanta, suzuya and Cleveland. They need MAJOR deck armor and AA buffs if these are gonna stay. A ship that can damage other players with no chance of getting damaged back, should by its nature be the weakest class, not by far the strongest. AP bombs need to go. What’s more, after playing the German carriers the only ship that represents any sort of threat to them is destroyers. Destroyers already are extremely overpowered as it is. They are already a huge threat to battleships, and even cruisers at times. And right now they are also predators to carriers. You could make the argument that any ship can damage a carrier, which is true but you can deal more damage back then they can deal to you, and it’s very hard to get spotted by anything other than a destroyer. But you cannot damage destroyers effectively. Destroyers need to be nerfed, Especially The ridiculous Japanese destroyers like the shimakaze, and armor piercing bombs and bombs that deal more damage per hit than the average battleship salvo have no place in the game on a ship that realistically can’t be damaged back. How do they effectively Nerf destroyers? Either reduce torpedo damage severely, or provide more ways for them to be spotted, by battleships in a 1v1 scenario, such as being able to control the spotter planes in the same way you can carrier launched planes, and have them tail a target. Have them ACTUALLY spot things. and really they need a combination of both. I think the torpedo should do about the amount of damage that the carrier torpedoes do, or there should otherwise be some form of rng, because in their current state there’s no art of aiming, you don’t need to worry about hitting certain points of the ship and torpedo protection belts mean nothing, if you get more than three or four torpedoes the ship is done no matter what kind it is. Every single salvo of torpedoes has the realistic potential to be a dev strike, and in the case of some Japanese destroyers it can be more than one. That is not achievable in any other class of ship, and to completely wipe out a ship from full health in a battleship takes a ridiculous amount of luck, rng, and aiming skill to pull off, and even then sometimes it doesn’t matter because your guns are too big for the target you’re shooting at and you get all overpens, or just as likely the game decides you are going to have garbage dispersion and miss every shot. Destroyers that doesn’t happen. All you have to do is get a torpedo somewhere on the ship you’re shooting at and it’s going to do a ton of damage and probably cause flooding too. And every torpedo that hits does more damage on average than a citadel does from a battleship and citadels are much harder to achieve. They don’t have any chance based factors that have any significant effect like battleship dispersion does. I’m sure there are going to be salty destroyer captains saying it’s harder to hit torpedoes than shells, and you can dodge torpedoes, which is just blatantly wrong, and you can dodge shells much more easily than torpedoes because you know when they’re coming, which is why a lot of cruisers are actually battleship predators instead of prey like they are supposed to be. Battleships are by far the most underpowered class in the game right now, and destroyers are by far the most overpowered class. But that being the case, does not hold a candle to a carrier, because even though it doesn’t have as much potential to deal damage as one of the overpowered destroyers, it’s basically impossible to have a bad game in a carrier. You are not going to get shot at until the end of the game unless you horribly screw up. You have no chance of anything detecting you and no chance of anything being able to shoot at you even if you are detected, because you don’t need to be anywhere near them to deal damage to them. And by that very fact and by that very nature, they should not have the potential to deal as much damage or pose as large a threat as they do in particular to the ship that is already the most under powered class in the game, that being the battleship. If you want to play a ship that you can survive every single game until the very end, your role should be 99% spotting, and offering intelligence data to the team rather than dealing ridiculous amount of damage with no damage being dealt back, and in the current state of the game it is the polar opposite of that.
Torpedoes are easy to dodge as long as you actually move your ass instead of sitting at spawn the entire game like most BB players do. But I agree about carriers. I can't believe they're doing it again. Fucking imbeciles.
@@MumentoMory they can be dodged in some scenarios, but in others it’s just not possible. They’re much harder to dodge than shells, and much more effective as well. The shimakaze is the most unbalanced ship in the game, and it’s not particularly close. Every torpedo does more damage than a citadel, and they’re much easier to get than citadels. They need to do the same amount of torp damage as carriers, and what’s more, overpens need to have a chance to cause flooding for a short duration of time, as they actually do, that way you don’t get rewarded for having shit armor.
@@Pigeon249 DDs at least risk more then CVs and if they do a mistake, it can cost them everything. Moreover, they can be outplayed by a radar cruiser or another DD and torpedoes most of the time can be dodged, especially if you now, where to expect them. Yes, destroyers are pretty annoying but wg added even more annoying class on top of that, which you are not able to outplay.
@@AndreyS-m3m Destroyers are abpe to outplay them. Aswell as relying on teammates to understand even what radar is nevermind how to properly use it is taking a huge risk. What if you get matchmaked with no radar cruisers? What if the enemy team gets 4 star tier destroyers. What are you supposed to do against that? Atleast with cvs you can make an attempt to shoot at them or even have your cv teammate fight them.
@@Pigeon249 Firstly, when I played, and I am an experienced player (3.5k games, 59% winrate casual, 65% winrate ranks) cvs almost never go for dds because they damage chasing and always focus bbs. Secondly, even if you have no radar cruiser, you can still capture points, destroy everything except dds and win by saving caps. And if dd go for a cv, it is most likely a lose for his team because he will not capture or do anything for his team for about 5 min (and this is in case he is not spotted and managed to find a cv and torpedo him)

Seems like the German carriers may be the catalyst for change in game play especially if you’re a cruiser or battleship player. Teams may need to stay together in closer proximity, like a formation, to help with AA defense while pushing up. It also begs the question of what carriers should do, as a priority, at the start of the game? Seems like a carrier may need to destroy that enemy carrier ASAP, to gain that air superiority advantage to do other things for their team.
my first game in the t5 weser 73k dmg, 3 kills, 5 torps 13 ap bombs, 4 cits, and at the end (it was on 2 brothers) me and the enemy weser charged eachother through the middle and I got a close quarters expert. Not op at all
hello captain spartan nice video again and you re very close to the next swiss army knife captain. great job man. so now the german t7 cv changes the gameplay. in my oppinion first bb need support on the sea. and the first target is the the german cv. otherwise you loos your bb fast. i tryed to safe the bb with my cruiser and it worked mostly. but this planes are hard to kill and the damage is brutal when they hit. for me changes the game as far as the cv is gone and i can stop protect my bb s. so nice vid and have fun, take care and with best regards from 🇨🇭
I've played a handful games in air craft carriers and the best game for me was 20k damage 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But every game it seemed like I was getting better at it
That thing looks like fun. Hopefully wargaming tries to even the playing field with AA buffs or some consumable that limits damage to surface ships. I’d hate to see the game go belly up because of broken CV play. It hasn’t been an issue for me but I could see some players complaining about it.
it’s definitely time for us to be able to shoot torps if we spot them , at the very least being able to shoot them with battleship guns , and all ships need to have there hit points increased, at tier 6 and 7

@@nightlongvibe9942 I have nothing to gain by being dishonest. Folks can see for themselves. A lot of folks think Im some amazing player when in reality I am above average. Don't get me wrong I can more than hold my own against pretty much anyone in any ship type but there are folks that make me look silly at times.
This is my nightmare. I wish war gaming would allow me to spec my ship during the pre-match screen so I dont have to suffer for using my ship to kill other ships when a carrier shows up. Killing planes is not fun and not why I started playing legends.
Hey spartan....have you noticed BB overpens doing wrong damage numbers? I swear I had 2 overpens in same Salvo in the Colorado do 13 & 14 damage....not 1300 or 1400....just 13 & 14. I also had one do 309 (positive on that number). All salvos were taken on another BB. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. If so is it a damage glitch or just the damage value reporting incorrectly.
These things are killing the game at tr7. The Nelson had no come back, it's infamous heal was negated too as the citadel hits couldn't be healed. Also Spartan admits he's not a good carrier player 123000 damage and 3 sinkings, if I did that sort of damage in a cruiser or bb I'd be super pleased. They're broken, admit it before it puts people off playing.
This ship is op in another Level. Once a game this thing completely nuked me and dealed me 15k damage per attack and because the AA on my ship didn't shoot, I got absolutely rekt. My Team wasn't even that bad but we unfortunately only had one cap and the carrier killed two mates and than they won because my mated couldn't cap another caps.
Spartan the Lexi and shokaku have the immunity thing just in case u were implying they do not and did u notice u actually fly much higher in the German planes especially AP bomber's
Oh I know all tier 7 carriers get it that's the problem. Imagine them giving BBs the ability to not take damage for 6 seconds.... See a mess of shells coming your way and whoopsie sorry about your luck you can't hurt me
@@SpartanElite43 yes it is dumb and ik they wouldnt change it the way it is maybe nerfs but that's it it will always be immunity so the have to have in game so I think this a great opportunity for the DFAA and make it more reliable and more prone to use by making DFAA the counter to this immunity canceling it out and doing damage like how sonar/radar cancels out the affects of smoke it's better then nun but we do need visual indications of both and BBs should get the option of DFAA
I'm not a CV players, but these german are NASTY, i'd say they will be nerfed soon, i manage to take pleasure with these bombers, those citadels hits are just powerful xD
Naw Level Bombing was an actual thing where bomber would come in at a much lower altitude and Bomb from the sides of ships. Instead of Dive Bombing coming in from Above. I think it was a way to help avoid being detected until the last moment
Lol germans carriers are fun to play, people like to complain about them when they get killed by it, but let's face it, you gotta stick with your teamates if you don't want to be focused, also if you are low HP, you're becoming a target for CVs, the only thing that sucks about CVs is the fact that DDs get spotted and killed instantly, wargaming should rework this by making the DD's only visible for the CV

Personally I think the max you should be able to do per attack run with a CV is around 15k because 9k per citadel on an ap bomb is stupid The T3 German carrier is actually balanced because it does like 3-4K per citadel not damn 9
@@anime4gamers826 that's not a Tillman BB at all it's the last standards that were laid down then cancelled because of treaty limitions the guns on Kansas was in fact gonna be on Iowa but then the turrets were too small so they needed to design new guns
The day has come where they may have added something game breaking/op asf. Been having fun with the tier 5 and did not realize this has a consumable to make the damn planes invincible. Battleships dont stand a chance against this smh

I respectfully disagree. I personally feel if anyone else can dev strike, a carrier should b able 2 as well. Most games now everyone groups up and runs fighter plans. I'm preferably a carrier player and love my german carrier. I put up a 108k damage game in the tier 5 German carrier. But I loose plans way too quick in my opinion. It really isnt difficult to avoid carrier attacks if u know how and try to bow tank the squad ur mostly ok. I really hope they dont nerf the carrier.
Its so sad. I already had cut my play time in about half because of the other carriers. Its just not fun getting HE bombed over and over and having no chance to strike back or even hide when your in a BB. Now with this one....im done. Guess i gotta start looking for a new warSHIP game to play.
