I am extremely upset with the Republican party and feel truly disappointed. All the complaints about the issues we face, while at the same time criticizing the Democratic party for inactivity. Yet, they refuse to sit down and make a genuine effort to help with border security. It feels like they are saying, "I can help you, but only if you vote for us first." It seems like Republican elected officials don't care about what's happening in our country. The Republicans are not showing strength, but rather sitting on the sidelines, cheering for the opposing team. I urge everyone, including Republicans, to vote for Democratic candidates who are willing to face the challenges head-on, rather than shying away from them.

How about asking the Republicans instead of highlighting the problem. Come up with a plan to fix it and implement it with the Democrats, without bringing it up every chance they get. For example: if you had a vehicle that broke down would you talk badly about it, or would you get it fixed?

Are you looking at what happened during Covid? I don't recall a recession for the non-Covid portion of Trump's term. And I definitely don't recall inflation to the point where my paycheck doesn't go far enough and I am using more credit cards. The tax credits Biden spoke of haven't materialized.

It is unfortunate, that many citizens can not be relied upon to even remember 2007-2008, let alone the last 40 years. They can not remember that Republicans, and their unrelenting attacks on any regulation of businesses, caused the last 3 recessions. The Democrats have had to come in and restore the economy and implement regulations, to keep it from happening again. Capitalism is not all bad, but unbridled capitalism always ends up very bad.

If the anchor were being fair he would point out that inflation is GLOBAL and far worse in other countries. That Trump put Jerome Powell in charge as the Fed Chairman, in which position, he kept saying inflation was transitory, thus causing delayed response and inflation to get worse than it needed to. Yet, inflation was not as bad in the USA as most other countries. Also, Jerome Powell setting interest rates near 0 and quantitative easing so high caused Blackrock and other corporations to OVERBID on housing, both residential existing and new construction, driving up prices AND RENT. Driving up inflation for renters and insurance and property taxes due to driving up property values THANKS TO TRUMP.
