Why are we rejecting a President with an impressive legislative record, comparable to FDR and LBJ? Also, in 1968, VP Humphrey stepped into LBJ's spot, supposedly a smooth transition, but it didn't work out that way, did it? Pay attention to history. Don't forget about how voters in India turned out against Modi in India, and how voters in Turkey handed President Erdogan and his party their biggest electoral blow in years. It does seem like people in countries around the world who have seen/experienced life under a repressive right wing government are starting to push back. Although it does feel like it often takes folks that personal experience with loss of rights and things they care about to make them realize that it's important to turn out and vote.

Let me frame this from an apolitical perspective...This debate was NOT a surprise to the candidates. In addition, Biden approved of the questions for this debate, so he already saw them. President Biden took off work to relax, chill at Camp David and prepare for this 90 minute debate...hmmm...For 10-12 days (I hear different days), he had 16 of the best of the best policy makers and thinkers preparing him with the "right" things and facts to say at the right time. I say again, this IS NOT ABOUT ONE BAD DEBATE NIGHT. People have been covering for this for years and years and now people/world sees it in their living rooms. I am retired from the Marine Corps and a former CEO. I know from being in charge of thousands of people, if I had a manager that the company invested thousands of dollars(tax dollars), it is time for him to go. These experts were briefing him on HIS JOB! And people are actually making excuses for this now. GROW UP PEOPLE AND STOP BEING SOFT.. aka crying Van Jones...dude to soft my taste...anyways...
