That said if something happened in the months and years ahead and Prince Jacque is still a child/teen, his right to the throne could be at risk and end up a legal fight in the Monegasque courts. I have read enough articles to understand Alexandre’s intentions.

Albert also already has an heir. He married in 2011 and has a son, Jacques, with his wife. If he and his wife were childless, perhaps Albert would’ve taken steps to enable Alexandre to become the Hereditary Prince (similar to what his great-grandfather did with his grandmother) but the birth of Jacques made the issue moot

Jacques is the one who should inherit the throne. And no one else. Prince Albert is still young and can hold the throne for many years to come.
