For this episode of Meet the Renegades we have invited the Dutch journalist and author Joris Luyendijk to discuss Brexit implications and some of the banking sector flaws.
Are there underlying class divisions in Britain? Luyendijk believes that due to the top jobs being given to ones who attended private schools and the current elite’s incompetence, the working class is seething with resentment.
He thought the crash was due to greedy bankers who knew what they were doing but in reality one bank has no idea what the other one is doing and it is chaos. - "it wasn't greed, it was incompetence."
